I don't really have the words for this so will just link to this story:

Surrogacy is child trafficking.

Many of the surrogates live in dire poverty and are horrifically exploited.

e.g. in baby factories such as this, which have now been banned on India, Nepal and Thailand but the practice continues in other countries, and also it has moved underground - there are still illegal baby factories.

e.g. gulfnews.com/world/asia/india/india-surrogates-death-leads-to-concern-over-exploitation-1.1570016221013

They are still legal in Ukraine.

www.aljazeera.com/features/2018/9/13/ukraines-baby-factories-the-human-cost-of-surrogacy

But the solution isn't better control. The solution is to recognise this for what it is - the buying and selling of human beings, and ban it.

That's very true, there is no way that these babies will get the benefits of the 'fourth trimester' with thier mum. Breast or bottle young babies should be fed on demand, and if she does not have an army of nannies as she claims she doesn't, I bet there is a lot of bottle propping and crying it out going on.

itsgettingwierd · 13/02/2021 15:55

It seems she's got problems conceiving herself and they tried IVF from that article?

So using a surrogate for a child that's biologically yours is an alternative.

Having 4-5 pregnant with your child at the same time doesn't sit right with me (I'm guessing that looking at kids ages).

I can also understand wanting a large family and using alternative ways to achieve that if you can't conceive.

But not this way - a child every 18 months is more the right timescale.

ThatsnotmyBorishishairistoneat · 13/02/2021 15:56

Wrong on so many levels

DumplingsAndStew · 13/02/2021 15:57

@itsgettingwierd

She uses IVF for egg retrieval, then to impregnate the surrogate.

Sirzy · 13/02/2021 15:59

Surely this can’t be healthy for her either? Not on the scale she must be doing it

DumplingsAndStew · 13/02/2021 16:12

@Sirzy

I wouldn't imagine so. 95% of women who have been through egg stimulation will tell you how brutal it is. It's not an easy or pleasant process.

I would guess they will be doing whatever they can to collect as many eggs as possible in each cycle Sad

LolaSmiles · 13/02/2021 16:13

I've just had a look at her Instagram and her bio says she has a manager. It gets worse as these poor poor babies are being used as a way to try and make it as some sort of Instamum.

Her bio says 'how did I have 11 kids at 23?' like it's something amazing. Will her newsfeed document the vulnerable women they are expecting to grow their children? I doubt it. Will it talk about how she couldn't possibly go through pregnancy herself because she doesn't want to put her body through it (and needs to look nice for her sugar daddy) so she's outsourcing all of the medical risks to other women? Doubt it.

I'm almost annoyed that the newspaper has signposted us to them. The less oxygen the couple get for playing living dollies the better.

YoniAndGuy · 13/02/2021 16:19

He is indeed extremely screwed up and a nasty criminal piece of work to boot.

I won't comment on the very young woman who is currently involved in this horrible situation.

SinkGirl · 13/02/2021 23:10

@Jaxhog

Is this really any worse than a young teen wanting babies to secure Social Security or a council house? At least they can afford it.

I just hope that they have financially secured the children's future.

You absolutely cannot be serious. You clearly haven’t heard of the benefits cap.

@RagzReturnsRebooted waiting for results is basically like being pregnant apparently. Maybe she should stop exploiting impoverished women and do it herself then.

It takes a lot more than money to raise a DC it is a totally different scenario.

Akire · 13/02/2021 23:21

11 babies ok fine, 11 by IVF all at the same time because you don’t want wait AND you are planning more. No

Defenbaker · 13/02/2021 23:48

Crazy set up, and wrong on so many levels. The husband comes across as very controlling and rather sinister, the young wife is either very naive or playing along with him to benefit from his millionaire lifestyle. It's bizarre and unsettling.

It would be different if she had fertility issues and they chose to adopt two or three orphaned kids, but this seems to be all about creating a huge family instantly, without pregnancy and child birth taking their toll on the wife's body.

babbaloushka · 14/02/2021 00:08

Quite Handmaidsesque tbh. Exploiting vulnerable women for children. She looks so young too.

CutePixie · 14/02/2021 00:23

This is super creepy. I’m only a year older than her and my dad is several years younger than her husband. Ew. This husband of hers makes me feel sick. He’s taking advantage of all those women desperate for money, £7000 isn’t a lot for damage to your mental and physical health. And why are the babies so close in age? Why not wait?

drkpl · 14/02/2021 01:18

There’s something so twisted about this. I’m 23 and I have a 2 year old, and by god, I’m tired by all the cooking, cleaning, dressing, tantrums, playing, running around, cuddles & stories. Some people have 3 under 5 and I’m in awe of them. When it comes to having 10 under one there’s absolutely no way they get all the attention from the parents. Nannies and attachment issues are on the horizon.

NoseinBook3 · 14/02/2021 02:52

I have no words...

Finances are going to be the least of these children's worries. Attachment issues affect you for life, and they will not have secure attachments with the right people.
Bookwords · 14/02/2021 04:04

@Jaxhog what a ridiculous statement! It takes more than money to raise a child. Having money is not the magical answer to everything.

EmmaGrundyForPM · 14/02/2021 04:16

Those poor children.

There is a reason why surrogacy is illegality many countries.

MrsAvocet · 14/02/2021 04:51

If sounds to me as if everyone in this scenario is being exploited and is at risk - except the man. How unusual....🤔

Mummyoflittledragon · 14/02/2021 06:19

I saw this thread and read the article yesterday but was too shocked to comment. I wonder if part of this is him indulging her desire to play with live dolls or if she’s playing a part. One thing for sure, he’s enjoying this and is a megalomaniac collecting babies... he clearly likes having a lot of children. He already has 6 from his marriage.

Before reading all the info on the murder conviction. it was already clear he’s a scary man just from the photo.

JamesMiddletonsMarshmallows · 14/02/2021 06:59

So fucked up, and sorry but I'm not buying that the wife is some silly woman and it's all the man, They're both scum and seem to know exactly what they're doing.
I also feel terribly sorry for his adult children and presumably first wife. What an embarrassment of a father.
