I don't really have the words for this so will just link to this story:

It’s so messed up. She had her first at 17 - the eldest has a different father. She must have only been 20/21 when they met? What on earth is that man thinking.

OhHolyJesus · 13/02/2021 12:55

Odd that they've ruled out already making a child 'traditionally'.

His low sperm count? There is so much wrong about this I'm struggling to dissect it all.

The babies look so close in age there must have been several women pregnant at the same time or maybe there were twins/triplets? I agree that there is no way they get anything mire than their basic needs met and that would be with help from someone who is not their parents/primary carer.

The big relationship age gap is very worrying and his older children are probably quite worried about his obsession with having multiple children. I worry for the impact on them too, though they are grown up so the priority would be the younger children.

Her daughter will likely be quite neglected or maybe these babies have several nannies and she is of school age so maybe she spends some time with the mother when she gets home? I hope the daughter is ok. Surely she would be getting the message that you can buy what you want and some women can be 'used'.

I think one of the worst parts is they seem to have no intention of stopping. And no one will stop them. It reminds me of that Japanese millionaire who has sole custody of the 13 babies he bought. Like he wants to build a business empire or something.

Where does this end and can you have limitless children through surrogacy? There are limits to how many safe pregnancies a woman can have but does anyone stop you from buying say 100 babies?

will, I guess that's one way to live life on the edge. And look at all the employment they are giving local women.

OhHolyJesus · 13/02/2021 13:00

Here is where she introduces all of the nannies - "assistants" - and the role they play.

Thanks Dumpling that's just well...I have no words...and the number of the floors, different people and operations on different floors. It's like a business almost with that level of organisation.

Fucking hell this is 70 shades of fucked up. Setting up a future sexual abuse farm in plain sight?

Butchyrestingface · 13/02/2021 13:00

Well, that headline wasn't half as exciting as it initially promised...

I wonder what it was that attracted 23 year old Christina to her millionaire, "much older" husband?

The photo of them together looks like a kidnapping.

Blondiney · 13/02/2021 13:00

@Iqqq

I don't understand the problem?
LOL.

@RachelGreep87

"She was the kind of wife I always wanted for myself, an uncut diamond"

Not really sure what he meant by this but it doesn't sound great.

Yes, and the quote before it:

"She is so easy to be with, she always has a smile on her lips and yet at the same time is shy and mysterious."

Just reads that he wants a subservient wife who doesn't complain and keeps him interested.

There's also an artible linked ont he page about a man who has fathered 150 children (sperm doner) and has 'impregnated' three women and won't be stopped by the pandemic. Lovely.

I presume Hülya (1st wife) is the lady in the white headscarf holding hands with Galip. Names of some of his other daughters (businesswomen) are in that story, too.

Honestly, 10 babies could be the least of the weirdness here.

@Iqqq

I don't understand the problem?

This has to be the worst example of MN "cool gal" twattery I've ever seen.

Vestinium · 13/02/2021 13:13
@Iqqq you don't see the problem?

Only on mumsnet can such rubbish bd spoken!

It's just awful!
Yes what bullshit. Some posters think they're being edgy by going against the grain

Ginfordinner · 13/02/2021 13:17

In the Mirror article his wife is called Christina.
In the second article (dated 21 Jan) his wife is called Hulya. Is he a bigamist as well?

SquishySquirmy · 13/02/2021 13:25

"One surrogate had trouble giving up the baby but legally had no rights and had to hand it over"

Awful. Every detail in that article just adds to the horror. Those poor women and those poor children.

The father sounds like a huge creep as well.
I cynically suspect that part of the reason for using surrogates for all the babies (except for the daughter from a previous relationship) is so as not to ruin the trophy wife's "uncut diamond's" figure.

DumplingsAndStew · 13/02/2021 13:28

@lljkk

It seems he has 8 previous children - 4 boys, 4 girls.
He is a fugitive, wanted for fleeing a life sentence for his part in a murder, also cocaine charges.

Campervan69 · 13/02/2021 13:31

Surrogacy should be illegal. So wrong to deliberately create children then instantly remove them from their mother.

ddl1 · 13/02/2021 13:36

Yes, it sounds pretty awful for the kids - no individual attention from parents; like being brought up in a rather fancy orphanage, really. I imagine that because they're rich, the parents will be able to afford servants to care for the kids - indeed to have them in many cases. At least, those 19th century upper-class British parents who entrusted their children almost exclusively to nannies, governesses, and boarding-schools, weren't able to avoid those first 9 months! I suppose it's up to them, if it's legal; but it sounds quite sad.

Same4Walls · 13/02/2021 13:38

I agree. We know so much about child development and attachment that it astonishes me anyone would consider surrogacy acceptable.
ddl1 · 13/02/2021 13:39

And of course it's likely to be horribly exploitative to the surrogates. Do they have any rights at all?

Aroundtheworldin80moves · 13/02/2021 13:43

What's going to happen to these kids when they are a bit older? 10 babies is quite 'cute'. But 10 7 year olds? 11year olds? Teenagers?

Emeraldshamrock · 13/02/2021 13:44

Everything has a price. Sad

HeelsHandbagPerfumeCoffee · 13/02/2021 13:47

The 2nd wife has given birth to 1 baby,the other 22 babies are acquired
It’s all peculiar to say the least

Kljnmw3459 · 13/02/2021 13:47

She didn't deny having an army of nannies, she just said she spends all day with her children. Which is possible if she's a stay at home mum.

But who are the ladies reflected on the window. Nannies, I'd guess.

Good digging Dumpling

God this just gets worse and worse.

I'm absolutely appalled.
