Most underrated chocolate bar. Nobody goes, "ooh I really fancy a flake babe, grab me one from the co-op" do they? It's always a Snickers or a Bueno.

But they're the best. Better than all the rest.

Double Deckers were good, but they've gone and messed with the bite height and they are pretty meh now.

They are nice when dipped in a cuppa tea

They’re too messy, half of it ends up down your shirt. I prefer twirls, all the goodness of a flake encased in a tidy chocolate coating .

The chocolate is shite! The taste now is a lot less creamy than before Cadburys added palm oil to it and reduced cocoa + milk content. The texture has a gritty feel to it when you run it over your tongue. Absolute crap!!!! Mondelez are shareholder profit led not quality.
They have decimated Cadurys.

Kit Kat chunky are no longer chunky, the used to have thick chocolate & a really good bite.

My go to is actually a k8nder bueno every morning before work unless I wanna change it up then it’s a snickers 😂 I like flakes problem is it’s far too messy and gets everywhere. One time I even found some pieces down my bra when I got home later that night 😂

The chocolate in flakes is horrid and has a nasty aftertaste.

Flakes are only good in a 99 ice cream.

Useless in a bath as they ‘flake’ everywhere and stick to you. I also hate twirls.

Personally I’m not a fan of a chocolate ‘bar’ though. I like this new fashion (god I’m old) of mini versions in bags. Curly wurly squirlies, crunchie rocks etc. Yummy and not as messy. #monica

I used to like Picnics until they started putting 2 raisins in and 30 peanuts.

I second the poster who mentioned the Dipped Flake. Now, that was a chocolate bar. The flaky shards were contained by the outer coat of chocolate.
And, I learned in a similar thread on here a week or so ago, that Flakes are still made to the original Cadbury recipe even after the takeover by the huge multinational that saw production moved to mainland Europe. Something to do with the new manufacturing process/new recipe being unable to produce distinctive Flake bars satisfactorily. Yay!

I prefer a bag of mixed chocolate buttons though. I’ve never really seen other brands do chocolate buttons aside from supermarkets though :/

Have you had one recently though. They've been ruined. Not the same at all. They used to be my favourite.
