Mr tumble drama

So old CBeebies presenter (Sarah-Jane if anyone remembers the olden days of CBeebies) is in the newspapers saying she was best friends with mr tumble but he completely ghosted her after cbeebies sacked her (without even letting her know) when she did an underwear photo for animal rights.
Now mr tumbles mum is in the papers saying its a load of rubbish.
I used to see a lot of CBeebies back then and realised I never noticed that Sarah-Jane disappeared or read about this at the time.
AIBU to think they were a bit harsh and that mr tumble shouldn’t have ignored her?

Reading the article she wasn't actually working for the BBC appears to have assumed she would be given further work in the future. Oh and she also has a cocaine habit. I suspect she was already out the door hence the wet tit pics.

@mamabears3 no that was Kerry, not sure when she left but it won’t have been because of the ridiculous people complaining. Sarah Jane was the one with the blonde bunches.

Pui is pronounced like poy

Anyone remember the PC plum song? Years ago, some MNer said they sang it their head while watching Balamory "I'm PC Plum and I take it up the bum..." . That took up more space in my head than I care to own up to.

My sister used to sing a rude version too “I’ll look between your ass (instead of the grass obv) with magnifying glass.” Never saw him in the same light after that.

So do I, it's like looking through photos of your toddler.

But I wish somebody else remembered Captain Mac which was I think on ITV. It was quite odd but DD loved it. Even now we say 'Oh no it's a catastrophe, call Captain Mac!' in a very sarcastic voice when DD moans about something. Grin

Can't believe we've got this far into a CBeebies thread without someone mentioning how hot Molly and Mack's dad is. I fancied him as a kid when he did Raven and I fancy him now as a grown up. (Quite like Mack too but I keep that one quiet as he's 10 years younger than me and that makes me feel a bit gross.)

Anyway, I'd snog him, marry beautiful lovely Ben and avoid the rest. Even DH had a bit of a crush on Ben (although not as big as his crush on Maddie!).

I met Chris and Pui when they did their show me show me tour and they were rude and grumpy with us! I'm hoping that it was a bad day and they were getting to the end of the tour.

One CBeebies thing I’ve noticed is that certain shows are permanently repeated- eg In the night garden no new episodes have actually been made in about 12 years, they just made one set that have been shown over and over through the past decade.

Then other programmes just disappear, anyone remember the Rhyme rocket or same smile with the three pandas

I though Mack and Molly's dad were a couple and it was a very forward thinking CBeebies series. My husband says I'm an idiot 🤣

Same Smile with the Pandas totally freaked my DC out. Made them scared of Pandas. I don’t know why, but when it came on we had to turn off the tv quick!

I'm really surprised to hear about everyone's experiences with Justin Fletcher. Met him with my toddler a couple of years ago and he was lovely! Made time for all the children that were there. If anything he seemed a bit shy, he smelt really nice though Grin

Has anyone seen the Something Special with the BEAUTIFUL little girl Molly in the shoe shop? Justin changed his voice to a softer tone and seemed really gentle and kind. Surely that's not fake!
