Mr tumble drama

So old CBeebies presenter (Sarah-Jane if anyone remembers the olden days of CBeebies) is in the newspapers saying she was best friends with mr tumble but he completely ghosted her after cbeebies sacked her (without even letting her know) when she did an underwear photo for animal rights.
Now mr tumbles mum is in the papers saying its a load of rubbish.
I used to see a lot of CBeebies back then and realised I never noticed that Sarah-Jane disappeared or read about this at the time.
AIBU to think they were a bit harsh and that mr tumble shouldn’t have ignored her?

I thought Mack and Molly's dad were a couple and it was a very forward thinking CBeebies series. My husband says I'm an idiot 🤣

I thought the same to start with. How old is Mack?

I heard a rumour cook and line from swashbuckle are married in RL too

@Crackers1288 Quite a few of my friends/family are in the industry and have worked with him. My impression of him from what they've said is that he's absolutely lovely to people he's paid to be nice to, and an arrogant sod to everyone else.

Sid is really lovely.

He did a show in Clacton (!) and came out afterwards so the kids could queue up and have a chat and their photo taken with him. Endlessly patient and kind.

So sad he left.

One CBeebies thing I’ve noticed is that certain shows are permanently repeated- eg In the night garden no new episodes have actually been made in about 12 years, they just made one set that have been shown over and over through the past decade.

Then other programmes just disappear, anyone remember the Rhyme rocket or same smile with the three pandas

Haha it was just a nice aftershave I guess but it obviously stuck with me!

I only used to watch CBeebies with my son so I could get a glimpse of Steve Backshall taking his top off and diving off a cliff somewhere exotic 🤣

My DD used to love Razzle Dazzle, used to cry their eyes out when it went off at the end of every episode.
Now that they are 14 they don't like being reminded of that.

It was the same as when they took In the (shite) garden off in 2007. It was part of our bedtime routine for DD. When it didn't come on and the poxy Shiny Show was on instead, they wouldn't sleep for days. First time I ever downloaded a series that was cos they wouldn't sleep unless seeing Iggle sodding Piggle go off on his boat.

Mack is 24. He's also so incredibly stupid (in the programme, I'm sure he's lovely in real life) that it would probably be illegal for him to be dating anyone on the grounds of diminished responsibility.

i just loved mr bloom !! & mr tumble i still sing his songs to my kids now they re older & although they hate it they laugh ......i used to think oh no not more CBeebies but now i think back fondly

I’m finding it funny that Justin Fletcher is being called Mr Tumble in RL.

I never liked him and I wasn’t surprised to hear that he was a twat in RL. I was very glad when my DDs grew out of watching CBeebies.

@GreenSlide 3 vodkas and I read Nobhead's stories, Pear something or other's comments (apparently worked with Justin) and Stackingtheshelves comments.
Apparently Stacking met him at a petrol station and then Pear gave him her number. Stacking then put up a post saying she'd met someone and they've been texting filthy things and he sent her a dick pic (deffo justin)
I reckon Pear was actually him gegging in on the thread lol
