3 or 4 penguin slams with a cup of tea Brew

TigsytheTiger · 01/02/2021 19:32

Dominos pizza with a garlic and herb dip and garlic bread, best served with a glass of wine and no one else so I don't have to share!

ThisIsNotARealAvo · 01/02/2021 19:33

Macaroni cheese is my ultimate, but if that's not possible I love crumpets with butter and marmite.

NoIDontWatchLoveIsland · 01/02/2021 19:34

Spaghetti bolognese.

For sweet stuff probably some sort of sticky toffee pudding with thick custard

HappygoesLucy · 01/02/2021 19:35

Chicken salad baguette. Greggs do a beautiful one. It's just plain mayo, chicken, lettuce and crusty baguette but it does something to settle my brain.

I think I've decided what I'm having for dinner tonight...

BikeRunSki · 01/02/2021 19:36

Macaroni cheese
Hot chocolate with some toast and peanut butter

Madeoftea · 01/02/2021 19:42

I have many comfort foods, I couldn’t choose a favourite but this evening I’m eating homemade coconut rice pudding and it is gorgeous 😋

ShopTattsyrup · 01/02/2021 20:33

For a snack - toast with real butter
For a meal - sausage and mash with onion gravy

notsosmoothie · 01/02/2021 20:34

When I'm ill, my own chicken matzo ball soup.

It's one Jewish cliché I absolutely live up to –my grandmother taught me when I was a kid and I've made a few tweaks since then, and there is NOTHING BETTER on the face of the planet.

HeidiHaughton · 01/02/2021 20:54

Mashed potato, beans and fish fingers. We used to have it every Wednesday as kids.

delilahbucket · 01/02/2021 21:27

Chilli with nachos and cheese, homemade guacamole, soured cream and jalapeños. Takes ages to make a good chilli but so worth it. Might do one this weekend now!

Hersetta427 · 01/02/2021 21:29

When I am feeling a bit off colour it has to be Heinz tomato soup and breast with lashings of butter

notanothertakeaway · 01/02/2021 21:35

Toast

Dobbyismyfavourite · 01/02/2021 21:48

Homemade crumble (apple or rhubarb) and custard.

Ingridla · 01/02/2021 21:50

Whole earth crunchy peanut butter with sliced banana with in a brown bread sandwich, tortilla wrap or rice cake if I'm checking the calories, it's SO good.

NorbertMeubles · 01/02/2021 21:59

Peanut butter and jam on toast. And a coffee.

Home made corned beef hash with a poached egg.

Home made chicken and veg soup.

Scrambled eggs (in the pan) and grilled smoked bacon on a bagel. This is my weekend treat breakfast, not always with bacon.
