What is your all time favourite comfort food?

The best snack, or meal that makes you happy everytime you eat it

Crumpets, swimming in butter with dabs of marmite.
Condensed milk spooned out of the tin.

Bangers & mash
Also love poached eggs on toast

Mother's pride bread, toasted with Kerry gold butter. So good reminds me of being wee.

Otherwise cheesy pasta/Mac and cheese!

Depends on the right of comfort.
A cold miserable day outside, dinner would be a nice thick gravy stew with dumplings and Yorkshire puds to dip. I'd then have a hot chocolate and some kind of chocolate bar for pud. Probably a nice big galaxy.
Comfort whilst sad, or going through a hard time: Chinese food, wine and of course chocolate.

Tea and toast.
Macaroni cheese.

cheesy pasta. melted cheese on potatoes. cheese on toast. weirdly not cheese on its own.

Cheese toastie with cheese & onion crisps.

Nachos with everything on

Supermarket sandwiches, the cheaper & more basic the better. White bread, please. I can eat several packs at a sitting.

Really good Indian food, any kind not fussy.

Jacket potato with loads of butter and some salt.

Chocolate ganache pots

Really boring, but a grilled cheese and ham sandwich, Lea and Perrins on the cheese as it cooks under the grill, with Heinz tomato soup.

Apple crumble with custard.
A bar of red Lindt chocolate.
Homemade popcorn with butter, salt and cheese.
Peanut butter on toast.

Fish finger sandwich
"Grilled" cheese sandwich made by my Dad (so actually fried with a metric shit tonne of butter)

Jacket potato beans cheese and coleslaw. Made by my mum.

A packet of XL cheese crisps (only available in certain areas of the NW). If it's anywhere near lunchtime they're crunched between 2 slices of white bread spread with a lot of Lurpak!

Chinese takeaway 😋

Mac and cheese. The bloke makes the best one ever. It’s a cuddle on a plate.

Toast. Cold with butter. Hot sweet milky tea.

Fish finger and mayo sandwiches or a king prawn korma.

As many packets of crisps as I can eat before my mouth starts stinging.
