Is having three perfumes greedy?

How many perfumes do you have? Normally I have one day perfume and one going out perfume (which is seriously underused at the moment).

Now I'm about to buy a new bottle of my usual perfume but I also want to try another one - I cant help but feel kind of greedy though?

I got my 2 favourites from DH for Christmas and one from FIL (which I can't use because it won't press down 😆 I've no idea what it was smells like!)

I would love to get my other 2 favourites as well and may treat myself because they're not actually expensive.

I had none before Christmas, having finished everything I had!

I have about 7 different perfumes. Moschino Toy 2, Poison, Gucci Bamboo, Roberto Cavalli Tiger Oud, Coco Mademoiselle and Thierry Migle Aura.

I like having all different perfumes and don't consider poison or tiger oud to be daytime ones.
It's not greedy at all

I have 18, some I wear more than others though. My favourite is Guerlain Mitsouko.

I also have soaps, body lotions to match most of my perfumes.

I spent over £600 on earrings recently. I’ve got plenty of earrings but no proper grown up diamond earrings. It made me happy.

Three isn't greedy at all. I have four on the go at the moment: hugo deep red, cerutti 1886 for work, daisy and alien for nights out.

There are a good half a dozen or so more than I want and I will buy at least one of them on payday. I get them for birthday and Christmas but run out before they come back around so I buy them for myself too.

I've got about 6 on the go at the moment, mostly reasonable price ones (Next, Body Shop etc) and DH bought me a Chanel one for Christmas.

Go for it. We all need something to lift our mood at the moment

Definitely not greedy! Including sample sizes I'm probably around the 100 mark

I love perfumes, I have 4 on the go at the moment. I find if I have too many I don’t use them all and they go off, so I’ve started reining it in and actually using what I have.

I’ve never had a problem with perfumes going off even if they are 10+ years old
In fact the beauty of some older ones reminds me how some new formulas of old classics just are not the same
Mine live on a shelf in bedroom not in sunlight some are boxed
I also keep samples for holidays (dream) in a box inside my wardrobe

Well-made scents don't really go off if they are stored in cool, dark conditions. The top notes can degrade a little over time but if you have a look on eBay you will see that there is a thriving market in rare vintage scents, especially those which have been reformulated in their modern versions or discontinued altogether.

Light is the absolute enemy of scent, however.

At the moment I have on the go - SJP's Forever, Cool Water Woman, Chanel No 19, Hermes 24 Fauborg, and my latest acquisition Guerlain Shalimar.
My scent changes with my plans - Cool Water for walking/exercise, Shalimar for what used to be date nights, Hermes or Chanel for power dressing work meetings.
Forever is my cheapie that I encourage the dc to order for birthday gifts etc. Their allowance doesn't run much further. And you can get Forever shower gel too. Plus I like it.
I am not a very feminine person. No matching bra and briefs, rarely wear anything but trainers, I have the make up skills of Krusty the Clown but I do like smelling nice.

You’re good, I have ten! Trying to use them up as I have conceded that nothing is going to beat coco mademoiselle for me. I tried to branch out as it’s so popular but I always go back!

I must have coming up for 100 now. I am a fan of 4160Tuesdays and she sells samples too. Another thing to look at is the perfume society, they do discovery boxes. Ive got tons of samples

I have loads. My latest us from Lidl, is identity Chloe and under £5 for 100ml. Honestly I'm not into dupes but this one is fantastic

Have as many different perfumes as you like, babe - literally nobody would give a shit if you wanted to do a different scent every day of the year and probably wouldn't notice if you did!

Chance is my favourite perfume ever!!! Love it 😍 I currently have about 5 perfumes on the go and suspect I will have them for a while! 🤣

I only have 3 - Si by Giorgio Armani, Chanel No 5 & Nina Ricci L'Air du Temps.

Si is what I love to wear most of the time.
No 5 not wearing so often any more but have been known to wear it to bed
L'Air du Temps - well it was my mother's scent. She would wear it when going out, looking so incredibly glamorous. I wear it for comfort when I'm not feeling so chipper.

I do however also have the bath oils, shower gels, soaps & body lotions for all of them which for me is more luxurious than all the perfumes!

I have loads, depending on my mood as to which i wear. The only " cheap" one i ever wear is white musk from the Body Shop. I love perfume and don't feel dressed until ive put it on.

I think there’s enough to go round!
