So all the problems that come up when expanding capacity (equipment needs designing, ordering, to be made, to be installed, and calibrated, wiring needs doing and certifying, staff need training) came up 3 months ealier
Well, i guess that then begs the question "Why didn't AZ do the EU factories earlier?" they knew the pre ordered amounts from the eu - 400m, they knew the trial data was good.
and they used the factories in the eu to supply the UKs first doses, so clearly they had them up and running by december, the issues seem to have come later on?
which would have happened regardless of when the vaccines were ordered, which is what their CEO also said.
None of the above though is defending the EU, they've been shockingly bad.
If the EU leadership did the A16 yesterday, they should step down and member states/MEPs appt a new commission.
However, i'd also like BJ to step aside after our 100k plus deaths, he won't and the EU commission won't either :(
