or "I drove to work & couldn't believe how much traffic there was on the roads". Surely a tiny part of their brain must be able to comprehend that if they had a valid reason to be out others might do too??!!
not really. There was next to no traffic during the first lockdown. Cars were pretty much only driven by genuine critical workers who needed to work.
Miss the point much. The point was if you are out driving & you think the roads are busy why assume you have valid reasons & others don't?
you insist on missing the point. If everybody had valid reasons, then the traffic would have been the same during the first lockdown.
Funnily enough, it wasn't. No one has suddenly become essential since last summer.
What are you still struggling to comprehend???
The point is if you believe your journey, jog, trip to the supermarket is valid (it might be, it might not be) then you have to accept other people doing the same as you feel the same.
I know it's hard for you, but how do you fail to understand that you don't need to be IN THE TRAFFIC YOURSELF to notice it 😂
You don't even need to be outside, some of us do not live in the middle of a field!
More people respected the first lockdown.
Not many care about the second one.
How hard is that to understand? Or are you trying to convince us that YOUR outings are suddenly essentials but were not during the first lockdown? Yes, we believe you
OMG did you see what I quoted. I haven't denied any of the above & that's not what I said.
I was specifically referring to those partaking in certain activities. Hence why I quoted "I was out for a jog, I was driving" It's hard to do those things from your living room isn't it?
My point was cognitive dissonance but it's gone way over your head. It was not about twitching your curtains & seeing more cars on the road.
@Iknowwhatudidlastsummer the above was our exchange. If you can't understand that it's not a difference in opinion more that fact you aren't comprehend what my posts are saying then what would you call it?
