To ask what conspiracy theories you actually believe are true?

Following on from the thread where OP was looking for conspiracy theories for her kids to look at, I was wondering whether anyone actually believes any of the outlandish conspiracies.

We’ve all read about how people believe that Elvis didn’t die/Paul McCartney did die/the royals are all lizards/the earth is flat. But I’ve never encountered anyone who actually believes any of them, only people who talk about people who (apparently) believe in them.

So, what conspiracies do you actually believe and why?

The Infinite Monkey Cage did an episode on conspiracy theories and why people believe them. Well worth a listen www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/m000dfqn

Thewithesarehere · 27/01/2021 22:24

Epstein and Dr David Kelly were murdered.

This is probably a stupid question but why would they assassinate Diana?

AdobeWanKenobi · 27/01/2021 22:25

I don't believe Jesse James was shot in the head whilst dusting.

I do believe his death was staged to cover up his confederate activities and he went on to live out his life in peace.
There was a great documentary on this on sky the other week. It's probably on catch up.

Midge75 · 27/01/2021 22:25

I don't believe that Meghan Markle one - I've seen that video and that 'pop' is much too loud to be made by a fake baby bump - much more likely to be a bump on a table out of view or something, plus with all that money, I'm pretty sure they'd get a good silicone bump that doesn't press in and pop out when you bend over! And I think the tummy getting bigger is angles and shadows. Also, I was two days from my due date, running down a lane to reach the main road so I could flag down a taxi carrying my sister in it. All pregnancies are different - at 7 1/2 months, my SIL had pelvic problems and was on crutches while I was carrying on like my body had never changed - even though my bump was huge. We can't judge a woman's pregancy experience by our own.

HmmSureJan · 27/01/2021 22:26

Supposedly there were concerns that the future King might end up with a Muslim step father.

hansgrueber · 27/01/2021 22:26

@AliceMcK

The royals especially Charles killed Diana

CIA killed JFK & his brother Bobby

Big brother is ALWAYS watching and I think they will soon find away to microchip us all soon.

The US definitely has proof of alien life

The British government are active in covering up peadophile rings.

And Donald Trump is the secret love child of an Umpa Lumpa and Typhoid Mary

Had there been a plot to kill DIana it could have been done in a far better way, that's what we have secret services for. As it was she was living a fairly rackety life style with some dodgy people, she put her trust in Fayed's security and they put her in a car with a drunken chauffeur, she chose not to wear a seat-belt. I don't think there was a plot at all.
DaphneBridgerton · 27/01/2021 22:27

Epstein didn't kill himself
Diana's death wasn't an accident
Twin towers was an inside job

I actually believe all of the above

Lastfreakinglegs · 27/01/2021 22:27

I believe that the transhuman agenda is an aspiration of some wealthy corporate elites.

Caitlin Doughty did a video on this some time ago -- part of her "iconic corpse" series. The mtDNA testing did conclusively prove he was the Nebraska corpse, which puts paid to the conspiracy theory.

Sorry but if you’re going to try and bump someone off you wouldn’t stage a car accident which would have been survivable by putting a seat belt on. Too many things that can go wrong. Diana’s death was a tragic and easily avoidable accident.

MrsSmith2021 · 27/01/2021 22:31

@Riddikulussness she definitely was. Even her face got fatter. She was pregnant all over.

Wouldratherbeanywhereelse · 27/01/2021 22:32

@bottleofbeer What do you mean 🤷🏻‍♀️My mum is rhesus negative

Blackberrycream · 27/01/2021 22:34

@BeautifulStar

Joshua Molnar, who killed the Manchester Grammar School schoolboy but was then acquitted, is “protected” by a Northern crime family.

Well, I can believe that - there was no way on earth he should’ve got away with that. I seem to remember Molnar and the other boy (the other boy probably in fear) said that Yousef had a knife too but there was absolutely no evidence of this and one was never found.
Evil little shit.

I hadn’t heard this but it was a disgrace that he was let off. He said he was in fear of his life yet he is untouched and Yousef was stabbed to death. Evil little shit indeed.
Jetatyeovilaerodrome · 27/01/2021 22:35

@bottleofbeer

There is more than one species of human. Why do rhesus negative women need anti d injections to stop them rejecting a baby?

Doesn't happen in the animal world. They're not naturally supposed to have babies with rhesus positive men.

Are you saying that Rh negative people are a 'different species' of human? Hmm
yvanka · 27/01/2021 22:37

lalaland2

I've not heard of the Sandy Hook one. Can you link the video?

AprilThe8th · 27/01/2021 22:37

Haha I'm rhesus negative.Apparently we are Aliens too 🤣👽

Elon Musk is an alien and Space X is his way of trying to get home.

oh thats so sweet actually. imagine trying to get home and not being able to. He does look a bit like an alien to be fair.

bottleofbeer · 27/01/2021 22:41

Yes, I believe RH- are a different species.

Why not? Nobody knows why we have no antigens. We reject second positive babies because our bodies see them as something to reject. We need certain drugs to carry them to term.

He’s been in court for other stuff since. Possession of a knife, handling stolen goods...

I watched a programme about the case last year that was on in the daytime - can’t remember the reporters name now - but he interviewed Yousef’s mum and sister and it was honestly one of the most heartbreaking things I’ve ever seen. They said that Molner was dancing and laughing in the corridors as they entered the courts and no effort was made to keep him away from them. His poor mum died last year, she was a broken woman. Yousef had such a bright future ahead of him but because he came from the poor side of the tracks and Molner’s family were rich and had friends in high places his death didn’t seem to count for anything.
And Molners family had the audacity to take out a “woe is me” piece in the (was it the Guardian?) trying to excuse their sons crime.
It was a disgusting miscarriage of justice and the “gangster theory” would go some way to explaining things.

I hope he gets his arse kicked in there.
