My really really unpopular opinion tonight is Pepsi is better than Coke.

Have only tried diet but diet Pepsi is definitely sweeter. Don't really mind either.

I always preferred coke - or so I thought. I did a Pepsi v coke taste challenge and it turns out I prefer Pepsi max. Who knew!

Diet Coke every time

Diet Coke for me, really pisses me off when I ask for DC and I get Pepsi when out. I got told it was the same last time I was served it when I complained. It is not the same and I can tell the difference, I really dislike Pepsi

Pepsi is too sweet, and tastes a bit soapy. Coke for severe hangover emergencies, Diet Coke for all other times.

Coke is more carbonated and has less syrup. Also it has a lemony taste I don't like. I prefer Pepsi as it's sweeter.
I'd have Wild Cherry Pepsi over anything else. (Not the weird Max version.)

Coke is the best.
Pepsi is cloyingly sweet, and always seems a bit flat. Like a melted Cola ice pop.

All of the crap with sweetener is nasty, max, diet, zero. Sweetener has such an unpleasant aftertaste.

It does go really flat quickly but ice cold fresh Pepsi is better than Coke for sure. Fizzier and sweeter!

Absolutely no diets, zeros or maxes here. Sweeteners are vile! I still live in hope Lucozade will realise that it is NOT “the same great taste”

Pepsi Max cherry is my drink of choice, we but Pepsi Max also. We would never bring coke into the house as its just not nice!
Diet Coke tastes so flat (flavour wise) like it’s brown water with some sort or taste that was there once. Full fat coke just makes my teeth feel all fluffy, only ever drink it if I’ve swallowed sea water when I’m swimming and it’s vile.

And none of these fat/sugar/caffeine/"healthy" options rubbish. If you want to be healthy, you drink water. Fizzy drinks are not there to be healthy, sweeteners are even worst than the original anyway. It's clever marketing but so wrong.

Full fat definitely coca cola, pepsi is too sweet. But I am a pepsi max addict.

Pepsi is definitely better. I also like Aldi own brand cola/Pepsi max and Barr's cola Coca cola is my least favourite.

Apparently in a numerous blind taste tests, the overwhelming majority preferred Pepsi but when they were labelled, people chose Coke.

@LochJessMonster I read somewhere that a lot of food companies use the colours yellow and red as it makes you want the product more. Apparently seeing the colour red makes you more hungry and the product taste more appealing than other colours. Could be completely untrue of course but given what you said about the blind test it makes sense.

I vote coke.

I prefer pepsi max over coke zero.
I don't like either of them in full fat very sweet.
