For me, full sugar coke has always tasted the best, but Pepsi Max is my favourite diet cola. DH prefers the cherry or raspberry Pepsi Max 🤢

Pepsi Max all the way. I recently tried Coke zero after not having it for years and it was ghastly. Tasted worse than cheap off-brand pop. Couldn't finish it.

PepsiMax over any of the fizzy drink options. If there is no pepsi available than I usually would get full sugar coke instead but it is always such a dissapointment when I have to do that.

Pepsi from the 80s/90s was much better than coke, but now I prefer full fat coke. That said, I can drink Pepsi Max and not shudder, but would now choose coke over it.

Me too, Pepsi Max is nicer.

Apparently in a numerous blind taste tests, the overwhelming majority preferred Pepsi but when they were labelled, people chose Coke.

I like Diet Coke from a Can but Diet Pepsi from a bottle!
I am a self confessed Diet Coke addict. Hate Pepsi Max or Coke Zero.
Imagine my disgust arriving in Japan at my brothers house when he casually mentions that 'Diet Coke isn't a thing here, but we have Coke Zero'
I actually got used to it and on the flight home asked for a Diet Coke and it tasted funny!

Full fat Coke is the best thing for a hangover especially since Jamie Oliver ruined Lucazade.

I used to drink Diet Coke and now will only drink Pepsi Max. I did a taste test at a school open day and couldn't believe the difference.

I’m all about Coke. I tend to drink Coke Zero to save calories as I prefer it to Diet Coke, but the real thing tastes so much better.

I cannot abide Diet Coke and given how much sugar is in ‘Normal’ Coke I have a daily Diet Pepsi habit Pepsi max is a reasonable substitute but NEVER Coke Zero. ..

I am slightly alarmed by my absolute fizzy drink obsession. I literally cannot give them up!

This is what screwed New Coke in the US. In taste tests, people preferred the sweetness of Pepsi, so Coke reformulated on that basis. However, that was based on a small cup to taste-test. What they hadn’t allowed for was how people’s preferences changed when they were drinking a full can or bottle. The majority of tasters preferred a less sweet drink then.

Cola Zero, Pepsi max has a weird sweetener taste.

Both give me an hangover!
Can drink gin and wine til the cows come home but both of the aforementioned give me the most shocking headache.
