I was going to vote YANBU, because all Coca Cola is inferior to its equivalent in Pepsi.

Then I noticed you've totally dismissed my preference, Pepsi Max, because it's "diet", so it's a reluctant YABU from me. Sorry.

Pepsi, Pepsi Max or Diet Pepsi. Much better than the brown wee that is Coca Cola (probably the biggest battleground between husband & me. That, and his liking for flappy warm bread, not proper toast. The savage).

Well Coke has the edge (only just) on Pepsi in terms of environmental damage, I'd give them both a swerve.

Pepsi is too sweet and it isn't as fizzy as coke.
It goes flat really quickly too.

Apparently in a numerous blind taste tests, the overwhelming majority preferred Pepsi but when they were labelled, people chose Coke.

Don't know if you people can get it, but if you have a chance, try a Doctor Pepper. The Diet Dr. Pepper tastes the same as full sugar DP, and both are better than Coke, which is 100 times better than Pepsi.

Full fat coke =Pepsi. Diet Coke> Diet Pepsi . Pepsi Max > Coke Zero. So a win for each and a draw.

An occasional diet Coke is acceptable. I rarely drink sweet fizzy drinks.

Agree with pp that Dr Pepper outranks Pepsi and even Coca Cola. So too would root beer.
Disclosure - don’t really have much of a sweet tooth so I drink maybe 5 cans of any per year but when younger these preferences were deeply ingrained. So mine is an historic (and maybe irrelevant with all of the new recipes/varieties) view.

My treat each evening is a glass of Pepsi Max and a double Malibu.
Never drink it any other time as I love it far too much.

I clearly remember doing a coke vs Pepsi taste test in primary school (can you imagine that happening now?!) Pepsi won for sweetness.

Pepsi is best, has to be diet though.
