To ask your VERY early pregnancy symptoms

Hi all,
New to mumsnet! I am currently 6-7DPO.

I have been feeling SUPER 'heavy' in my lower stomach all day, feels like AF is on the way at any given moment! Lots of light / dull cramps / fluttery feelings in my stomach too.
I've been SO TIRED it's unreal; I could barely keep my eyes open today.

Can I ask what early signs you guys had when you got pregnant?
Thank you ❤️🥰

Vivid dreams

Waxonwaxoff0 · 21/01/2021 22:01

None at all. Wouldn't have known I was pregnant if it wasn't for my period not coming.

HotDogHotDiggityDog · 21/01/2021 22:01

Terrible headaches, exhaustion - was falling asleep on the sofa as soon as I got in from work, emotional, lots of tears!

Melrose86 · 21/01/2021 22:04

My stomach felt like I'd been doing sit ups. And mouth ulcers.

SparkyTheCat · 21/01/2021 22:14

DCat1 normally prefers DH, but suddenly couldn't get enough of me. As in, literally clinging on. It popped into my head to do a test, and sure enough.

TheKeatingFive · 21/01/2021 22:22

DS1: Very sore boobs. I drank a half glass of champagne and promptly threw up. Awesome sex.

DS2: Nasal congestion so bad I couldn’t sleep. None of the above.

I preferred it the first time. Grin

skiclothes · 21/01/2021 22:23

Horrendous trapped wind until about 6 weeks. I woke up in the night with it at one point (before I knew I was pregnant) and thought I had appendicitis Grin

GrowThroughWhatYouGoThrough · 21/01/2021 22:26

Constipation 😂

Justneedadvice636465 · 21/01/2021 22:27

Didn't find out about my first until period was due.

With my twin pregnancy I had a strong positive test 5 days before my period was due. Only reason I done the test was because I fell asleep during the day. I can never sleep during the day ever and I was exhausted so that was my only reason I done the test at night when I woke up.

Emeraldshamrock · 21/01/2021 22:33

I was crampy on both pregnancies though my womb is sensitive I've cramps every month and while ovulating.
It was a scary time everything went well try not to worry.

Minky37 · 21/01/2021 22:49

Very Sore boobs, boobs like torpedoes (very firm) and weirdly hot.

Thisisworsethananticpated · 21/01/2021 22:54

Sore boobs

MsTSwift · 21/01/2021 22:57

Hungry. Went for a meal out with a friend came home and cereal and toast!

YakkityYakYakYak · 21/01/2021 22:58

Massive nipples 😂

IggyFigs · 21/01/2021 22:59

Sore boobs, every time! Always before anything else. I would get them before a period too but with cramps. When pregnant it was just boobs and nothing else until the sickness came!

pinkstripeycat · 21/01/2021 22:59

Always a metallic taste in my mouth

TheSoapyFrog · 21/01/2021 23:02

Congratulations!
My early symptoms were heightened sense of smell, food aversion and not wanting to drink alcohol.

Sheleg · 21/01/2021 23:07

I was sooooooo moody.

2020one · 21/01/2021 23:07

Symptoms before my period was even due were like a winded feeling but lower down, and intense thirst.

whatswithtodaytoday · 21/01/2021 23:10

Absolutely nothing until about three days after my period was due (already knew I was pregnant), when I had a bad headache and felt faint and off my food. Had a couple of days of that, then nothing until the sickness kicked in at six weeks.

Emmelina · 21/01/2021 23:12

A metallic taste in my mouth, like I had a cheap teaspoon on my tongue. And by boobs were so sore and sensitive if I brushed against them with my inner arm I’d wince.
Then hit the queasiness!

grassisjeweled · 21/01/2021 23:13

Bad diorrehia (sp)

vinoandbrie · 21/01/2021 23:14

Sore boobs and extremely vivid dreams, starting at about 3-4 dpo. I know I know, not possible, but I kept a diary and these were genuinely my symptoms, they were my earliest, and very clear, signs that I was pregnant, both times. I did a pregnancy test at the earliest possible moment, but knew already that it would be positive.

I am the opposite of these women I occasionally read about who go months and months without realising they are pregnant!

ValidUser · 21/01/2021 23:14

The guy with the speculum shoving an embryo up there a few days before was a good clue. Lots of side effects from the progesterone pessaries. Big hole in my bank balance from paying the clinic...

Felt sick, was tired and had food aversions from about 6 weeks. Almost 31 weeks now. Hoping you have the result you want!

chelle862 · 21/01/2021 23:19

Burping, metallic taste and flu like tiredness.
