Chocolate should never be stored in the fridge.

The only time my chocolate goes in the fridge is if it's peak summer and it is melting. Even then I get cross that it's too cold when it comes out.

The freezer is where I hide my caramel bars.

Mars bars belong in the freezer (a delicious treat!)

All other chocolate should be hidden in various places around the house so there will still be some left when I want it which wouldn’t happen if it were left the fridge.

End of story.

Another Aussie here, and it's currently summer. We have no choice but to fridge our chocolate unless we want to consume it with a straw! Seriously, it starts melting on the walk from the supermarket exit to the car.

Still provides that lovely, happy chocolate high, though.

Aussie's are exempt from the discussion. Fridge chocolate is better than a puddle of chocolate.

My friend and I argue about this - I say definitely chocolate out of the fridge - room temperature and sometimes I even warm it a little in the microwave
She thinks I'm a heathen and that chocolate should be kept in the fridge.

I grew up in a freezing cold, I heated farmhouse and got used to the lovely snap of my Christmas chocolate that I kept in my bedroom. I also slept in tights, a T-shirt, winter pyjamas, two pairs of socks and a dressing gown, with a thick duvet and two blankets. I always keep my chocolate in the fridge now, to recreate the conditions of my childhood bedroom!

I used to put my chocolate in the window sill I like it melted or even melted and hardened again

Dh keeps his in the fridge. I don't.
I sometimes melt mine a bit in the microwave
