Turns out actually there weren't any more vaccines for the Trump administration to release, which is pissing off the states, which had made plans for the ramp up.

I have just seen a few recently released clips of police officers being attacked on Sky News, and it's horrific. It's unbelievable more people weren't killed.

I remember a Republican (House or Senate member- can't remember their name) soon after the riot, describing it as a 'distraction'. The downplaying of this attack by the Republicans is unconscionable, and really does show that they are more concerned with retaining power and supporters than actually what is happening to America.

New York being under Democratic control have been given over 700,000 vaccines but only actually given 300,000 yet blame federal state for not providing more when they can't even roll out all the ones they have been given

Just read (CNN I think) that The Mall will be completely off limits. That's where the huge crowds would gather in a normal inauguration year. And where the not-so-huge crowds gathered in 2016

@Jaichangecentfoisdenom There's a link going round on Twitter to an article on a website called "beforeitsnews.com", which looks super genuine & reliable, which claims that the inauguration is cancelled & Trump will remain in office. I followed the rabbit hole & found claims that Trump had a private inauguration ceremony when Pence visited the White House the other day. There's a lot of bots retweeting it.
