He does still have the official "@POTUS" account, but it's an official US Govt twitter account. That will become Biden's on the 20th. It's pretty much just 'PR' and official engagement stuff.

Note Apple have said they will ban them if they do not apply "appropriate" moderation and it's expected they will ban them "within hours" if they don't receive such assurances according to mainstream media.

It's my understanding that yes, if impeached he would lose his post presidential perks because the Former Presidents Act 1958 only applies to presidents who have not been removed from office.

It includes a pension, staffing, transition but the biggest boon is security (in terms of cost). The pension isn't huge ($220k pa) by Trumps standards - it's not going to cover his wife's wardrobe bill for 6 months...

The security on the other hand is worth millions.

That said, I can't see the US withdrawing security from a former President.

As much as right now it might seem justice/Kama for a "revolutionary" group to hold Trump at gun point and make demands - and in return say "so what, pull the trigger", it's not a good look for the US to have a former President exposed in that way.

It's more politically expedient to strip him of every perk aside from security with the added benefit that you know where he is and what he's up to.

As for how any of this would apply to FLOTUS I don't know. I suspect she'll be entitled to security but nothing else - but that's a guess.
