I can’t sleep as I am so shocked and shaken at what has happened. I feared something like this all along. Trump should be impeached. People should be rioting in the streets about the fact that they have a lunatic as a President who is not fit for office, not because they want to keep him.

Have all the protesters gone home peacefully? I can't find live coverage of protests, only of what's going on inside

This is my concern too, I really hope the Biden & Harris inauguration is televised with no crowds. How could they possibly keep everyone safe otherwise.

Yep, how is it that this lot of extremists and white suprematists can storm Capitol Hill and just get gently ushered away? Actually half of them just slowly sauntered home before the additional police arrived because it was getting dark and cold.

And not to mention pretty near the start of the BLM movement one of them murdered 5 police officers and wounded 7 more.

There was always going to be a much rougher response to arson and shootings than selfies (although they did shoot one)

I'm sorry but you cannot argue that BLM protestors did not get a more violent and aggressive response from law enforcement, as well as more fatalities while unarmed.

If the same analogous situation applied, heavily unarmed BLM protestors on storming the Capitol- I sincerely doubt the police would have been as measured in their approach and we would be looking at the shooting of only one American civilian.

Their current approach is one they should apply indiscriminately to everyone. There is an obvious bias in their response here
