I love a drink.

JayAlfredPrufrock · 02/01/2021 23:01

@MolyHolyGuacamole

Just needed to set the record straight as several people seemed to feel the need to post the lie.

I’m good for grips thanks.

itsgoodtobehome · 02/01/2021 23:01

Breastfeeding makes fuck all difference to your child's health.

Quaagars · 02/01/2021 23:01

You're supposed to say what's unpopular on Mumsnet

Good point Grin
I'm adding to my list - people incapable of reading the fucking title lol

ChippyChickenChips · 02/01/2021 23:02

Dogs make your house smell really bad.
It can sometimes make guests feel sick and they will have to make an excuse to leave.

happybabyunit · 02/01/2021 23:02

@EwwwwDavid

My daughter wore massive hair bows and frilly socks until she was 10. And I bloody loved it!
How utterly sweet! Nothing better than seeing kids (and adults tbh) wearing what makes them smile. :)
Takemetothebar · 02/01/2021 23:02

That neighbours making noise is not a hanging offence.

I like barbecues, and fire pits, and couldn’t give a toss what my neighbours do with theirs.

That children are much like other animals- feed them well, exercise them well, treat them fairly and consistently, praise often and you’re pretty much there.

I cannot imagine ever logging anything with 101.

In general, mumsnet always leaves me feeling very laid back by comparison!!

Lucidas · 02/01/2021 23:02

Ear piercings on little girls are fine.

DishingOutDone · 02/01/2021 23:02

Cant believe someone said they liked bread sauce.

EveryDayIsADuvetDay · 02/01/2021 23:03

@RonObvious

Leggings can be worn as trousers.
Only if they've been sniffed first
DishingOutDone · 02/01/2021 23:04

So I'm confused, are we not allowed to say these terrible things and move on, or is this a thread where you're ok for terrible things until someone says something terrible you don't like, then you get a right to reply? Am I safe to say things that normally make people hate me?

WorraLiberty · 02/01/2021 23:04

Anxiety is an overused word.

Yes some people suffer from it but more often than not, they're just anxious about certain things, which is perfectly normal.

Politely asking your neighbour to move their car or stop using your bins is not confrontation. It's basic adult communication.

glas14368 · 02/01/2021 23:04

Molton Brown is overpriced crap.

DioneTheDiabolist · 02/01/2021 23:04

It's fine to take a buggy or pram on the bus without folding it down.

Belief in god doesn't make people stupid or horrible.

hotpotlover · 02/01/2021 23:04

The NHS clapping shouldn't have happened. It was senseless and stupid. Just increase their salaries and stop applauding people for doing their job.

Not everyone in the NHS is a hero or angel. There are good, average and bad workers just like in every other profession.

Large families with 4+kids shouldn't be looked at as irresponsible if they can look after their children financially and emotionally. They are not to be held responsible as the culprits for climate change.

It isn't always a fulfilling and supportive environment to work with other women. Many times it feels like a snake pit and it is more enjoyable as a woman to work with men.

pollysproggle · 02/01/2021 23:04

Children still in nappies past the age of 3 (day or night) is lazy parenting.
Not SN children.

Baby led weaning is a load of shite.

Iwouldbecomplex · 02/01/2021 23:05

I like porn 😬

Fizbosshoes · 02/01/2021 23:05

I wear clothes more than once if they are not sweaty or dirty
and no one AFAIK has recoiled from me

HeelsHandbagPerfumeCoffee · 02/01/2021 23:05

Being a mum isn’t ‘ardest job in the world.at all
Don’t give up work to be a housewife
Cooking Ham in coke is an abomination
Holly willoughby is charmless and a bit of a cart horse

ChestnutStuffing · 02/01/2021 23:05

@Maisiecow

I don’t dislike cats as a species, BUT the fact they go around shitting in gardens other than their own is unacceptable imo.
Cats of course do not believe in land as property.
Russellbrandshair · 02/01/2021 23:05

That neighbours making noise is not a hanging offence

Yup. According to some posters on here- they check with all their neighbours that they aren’t on night shift or feeling unwell before they so much as flush their toilet for fear of disturbing anyone.

If you believe that sanctimonious load of crap you’ll believe anything!

VinylDetective · 02/01/2021 23:06

I love bread sauce too.

We wear our shoes indoors.

12frogsincoats · 02/01/2021 23:06

Have the people repeating 'transwomen are men' not read the title properly? Or do they just want to start a fight?

And yet if he was a boy, half of Mumsnet would be patting you on the back 🤷‍♀️😅
