Pooled finances within a marriage is generally not a good idea.

Being a SAHM makes you hugely vulnerable.

Quaagars · 02/01/2021 22:52

Oh, these threads always go SO well!
Place marking for the inevitable thread deletion message lol

People who choose healthcare as a profession are not all angels .
It's not a job it's a vocation bleurgh

Some are utter utter bastards.
Lazy , rude , cut every corner that they can. Let their collegues take up their slack because they simply CBA

Some should not be within spitting distance of an ill or vunerable person.

(Not me of course , I'm a peach Wink )

@thesecretvoter If you think what you've just said is a controversial opinion on Mumsnet I assume you're a brand new member?

Quaagars · 02/01/2021 22:54

Parcel delivery men who knock loudly are the salt of the earth.

Either a brand new poster or trying to shit stir Grin

slashlover · 02/01/2021 22:55

Bringing up Karen White on trans threads to "prove" all trans people are dangerous is similar to bringing up Myra Hindley to prove all women are murderers. They are outliers.

Mumsnet should force people to post in the appropriate place. There's a coronavirus topic for a reason.

ClaireP20 · 02/01/2021 22:55

Circumcision for religious reasons is child abuse and should be viewed the same as female genital mutilation.

JaceLancs · 02/01/2021 22:56

Loo brushes are an acceptable way to clean toilet - all adults in my house are expected to use one to leave toilet clean after use
It’s ok for adult DC to live at home or even return home after relationship breakdown
Slimming World works for me and isn’t about eating junk food and muller lights
I can binge drink occasionally and am not an alcoholic
Being frugal does not earn you medals
A medium sized chicken is a single meal for 2-3 people in my house

Cautionsharpblade · 02/01/2021 22:56

Infidelity isn't that big a deal.

ChestnutStuffing · 02/01/2021 22:56

@MangoSeason

Dog-loving mumsnetters in the UK are ridiculously aggressive about walking dogs in “heatwaves”.

How they think dogs survive and thrive in the majority of the world that is much, much hotter than the UK is beyond me.

Funny story - went to Thailand in their "winter". They had their little dogs in sweaters!
thesecretvoter · 02/01/2021 22:57

@Quaagars nope just telling the truth as I see it.

Gobbeldegook · 02/01/2021 22:57

I think Brexit is a positive thing

JinglePies · 02/01/2021 22:57

Trans women are men. Yes.

Gobbeldegook · 02/01/2021 22:57

I'm probably going to have to name change now 😂

MolyHolyGuacamole · 02/01/2021 22:58

@JayAlfredPrufrock

Trans women are men

Trans women are men

Trans women are men

There are always those that can't help themselves. You're supposed to say what's unpopular on Mumsnet Hmm

Mine is: repeatedly stating that trans women are men is transphobic.

Also: 'Karen' is not misogynistic, and Drag Queens do not wear 'woman face'. Honestly some people need to get a grip.

cdtaylornats · 02/01/2021 22:58

@hicoolcatsandkittens some MN contributors are scum

Bence69 · 02/01/2021 22:58

I hate other people & would happily social distance forever x

sst1234 · 02/01/2021 22:59

Here we go...temperature is starting to go up now

Gobbeldegook · 02/01/2021 23:00

Oh and if you need to use a single sex space (eg changing rooms) you should choose the one that matches your genitalia, not your dress sense.

EwwwwDavid · 02/01/2021 23:00

My daughter wore massive hair bows and frilly socks until she was 10. And I bloody loved it!
