Anybody could mess with formula prior to you purchasing it. Call me paranoid, but they're some freaks out there

PhilCornwall1 · 03/01/2021 06:48

All these men who must travel for work. Actually no,he’s volunteered and he’s avoiding you and the kids. He likes pretending and acting that he’s a single man. He bigs up his significance, he is not indispensable, he just tells the sahp that he simply must work late, travel, attend a conference. Truth is he likes the freedom, the banter, acting to all intents & purpose like a single guy

Yeah, because life on the road for work is just so much fun! Drive for fucking miles, check in to yet another hotel, eat some shit food, go to bed, visit a client (who is more than likely a pain in the arse) for 7 hours and then get on the road again.

Hmmm living the dream!! Still it pays the bills and all that endless shagging is such a bonus!

Fireworks are brilliant. They still fill me with wonder and excitement. I don’t care that your pet hates them.

tiredwardsister · 03/01/2021 06:52

Private schools provide better education that the state sector.
State education is crap and unimaginative.
21st century boarding schools turn out happy well adjusted adults.
Possibly most controversially of all hunting is beneficial to our farmers/rural life isn’t cruel and an efficient way of keeping fox numbers down and brilliant fun for all ages.

Some of us just don't care for it .
HankMarvinjg · 03/01/2021 06:56

Care for what?

NoCauseRebel · 03/01/2021 06:57

Sometimes a baby should just be given a bottle rather than a woman martyring themselves to breastfeeding often to the detriment of the baby.

Any evidence that says BF is better is flimsy at best. There is literally no difference whether your child is BF or FF other than the sometimes convenience, and often inconvenience to the mother when she is the only one who is feeding and the baby is constantly demanding.

sadcatdiary · 03/01/2021 07:08

Transwomen are not women and never will be.

IVF should not be again the NHS.

Cat/dog haters should be strung up.

sadcatdiary · 03/01/2021 07:08

*available on, not again!

The evidence is strong, breastmilk protects against infections and the like. Our little one is 11months old and touch wood hasn't even had a cold. Even after immunisations in the early days was 100% fine. Comparing to FF babies in the family its a significant difference.
Eternia · 03/01/2021 07:18

@HankMarvinjg I have had the opposite experience of this! My formula fed baby is - and always has been - strong as an ox (now 5 years old). My breastfed 2 year old, however, constantly has colds that get to her chest no matter what we do! She's been on antibiotics several times whereas my 5 year old has only had them once. I'm all for breastfeeding and I'm sure there are other physical benefits but I'm not seeing it reflected in terms of resistance to colds etc

nanbread · 03/01/2021 07:24

It's cruel to ride horses

MarthasGinYard · 03/01/2021 07:25

'And breastfeeding is the best, I genuinely judge some mothers for their reasons to not breastfeed. Mainly selfish reasons.'

I genuinely judge one or two of the Stapo like fringe on MN

There are a few amazing BF advocates on the site though.

MarthasGinYard · 03/01/2021 07:27

I think using a moon cup is a bit grim.

MsTSwift · 03/01/2021 07:34

If you need to have a secret running away fund you must be in a really really shit marriage.

MrsMomoa · 03/01/2021 07:35

That people think that all teaching involves is "teaching kids" and that they have no clue what it actually involves.

That, breast is not best.
What is best is that children are fed and mothers are happy.

That it's okay not to wear a face mask.

NoNarniaBecauseLipstick · 03/01/2021 07:35

That it’s OK to have babies after 35.

CrotchBurn · 03/01/2021 07:37

Keeping cats inside is cruel. I dont care how many toys you have or how "perfectly content" your cat seems inside.

Hellandcoldwater · 03/01/2021 07:41

I do not have a car, and this does not make me any less of an adult or 'reliant on others for lifts'.

I am not remotely conflicted about working full time or travelling for work. I LIKE travelling for work.

That wooden toys are just as bad for the environment as plastic toys and no better for development. Buying second hand is hugely better than your new wooden Montessori toy that your baby ignores in favour of any flashing, colourful plastic toy that many think are distasteful.

Jammysod · 03/01/2021 07:48

@RUOKHon

I think it’s totally fine for a bride and groom to request cash rather than gifts. And also I have no problem at all with only being invited to the evening bit of the reception. That’s the best bit anyway.
Same! You're going to spend the money anyway, may as well just pop it in an envelope/card.
nosswith · 03/01/2021 07:49

That you probably can live without a car.
