I would say

Pineapple on pizza is decent

OP posts:
Literallynoidea · 02/01/2021 23:56

Islam is not compatible with life in the liberal West

Ihatefish · 02/01/2021 23:56

@HeelsHandbagPerfumeCoffee

The Sahm have no idea how their allegedly perfect dp behave in work. Clue he’s not dead busy,he’s just avoiding going home because he can’t be arsed
And quite often groping the arse of some colleague who is using sex to climb the career ladder (another unpopular but sadly quite often true position).
Stillfunny · 02/01/2021 23:57

Nobody really cares about your gender reveal.
Nobody cares about other people's children
Ant and Dec are shit. Especially Ant.

OrigamiOwl · 02/01/2021 23:57

Mumsnet should make people post in the correct topics. If you want to talk about covid, fine there's a whole board for that. Stop clogging up AIBU with posts that don't contain an AIBU!

Cheeeeislifenow · 02/01/2021 23:58

*that people with no experience of kids shouldn't be on mumsnet
*

I don't get that, there is loads more than parenting stuff on it?

wasgoingmadinthecountry · 02/01/2021 23:58

Your over indulged children need to get a fucking grip. Set boundaries. But when they are grown up treat them that way.

noirchatsdeux · 02/01/2021 23:59

@Stillfunny Yep to all of those, especially the last one.

QueenOfTheDoubleWide · 02/01/2021 23:59

@Ihatefish

I’ve Loads

I love England
France is a shithole and not utopia
I voted Tory and think Boris has done a decent job
I voted Brexit for well considered reasons
I don’t think spirituality and science are mutually exclusive
I really like Jordan Peterson
I think diversity boxes create division
Cultural appropriation is spike of shite
Being a SAHM is piss easy compared with having a job(I’ve done both)
There are fundmental differences between men and women
Dogs can sleep on beds without the family dropping down dead
No amount of recycling will compensate for having 3 plus kids
Questioning things doesn’t make you a conspiracy theorist
People have very valid reasons they can’t wear masks

Oddly I agree with most except the last one. I believe most people, although not all, could wear masks if they tried and would be safer if they did

France is definitely a shithole though

AgeLikeWine · 03/01/2021 00:00

Obesity is a choice.

So is being a healthy weight.

HeelsHandbagPerfumeCoffee · 03/01/2021 00:02

All these men who must travel for work. Actually no,he’s volunteered and he’s avoiding you and the kids. He likes pretending and acting that he’s a single man. He bigs up his significance, he is not indispensable, he just tells the sahp that he simply must work late, travel, attend a conference. Truth is he likes the freedom, the banter, acting to all intents & purpose like a single guy

SlightlyJaded · 03/01/2021 00:03

Oh and 'logging things' with 101 isn't actually a 'thing'. 101 is not your PA just waiting to take notes of the things that are fucking you off. By all means report a crime/abuse, but this suggestion that it's a halfway house where you can leave a trail of brain-dump-shite about your next door neighbour maybe having looked at you suspiciously? Nope. Not a thing.

Lucidas · 03/01/2021 00:03

You can never broach the topic of environmental factors associated with autism, even if they’re backed up with research, because it’s too upsetting.

noirchatsdeux · 03/01/2021 00:04

@HeelsHandbagPerfumeCoffee My father in a nutshell. The minute my older brother turned 10, he tuned out of being a parent. Probably because my brother started having a mind of his own. From that moment on he acted as if he was a single man.

Especially the current plethora of

I think schools should be closed/I think schools should be open/I will be sending my child/I won't be sending my child/Should I send my child?/What can we do about schools?/We need to protect teachers/Teachers are lazy/What about nurseries?/What about primaries?/What about secondaries?/What about exams?/

HeelsHandbagPerfumeCoffee · 03/01/2021 00:06

@noirchatsdeux, I’m sorry that was your experience.

Ugzbugz · 03/01/2021 00:06

Mask exemptions are totally abused and over dramatised.

There must be many dentists and doctors and surgeons and vets with many exceptions but we would never allow them not to wear them.

I love xmas eve boxes and xmas PJs.

XDownwiththissortofthingX · 03/01/2021 00:07

J K Rowling is a transphobe, a bully, and a raging hypocrite, and her 'essay' is laughable, uni fresher level nonsense.

Coasterfan · 03/01/2021 00:07

I ve got two!!

You do not need to sit your child down and tell them that Santa isn’t real. Most children will work this out for themselves before going to secondary school, why destroy the magic intentionally?

Food from Aldi and Lidl is all disgusting and I wouldn’t shop there in a million years!

Curtainsarefab · 03/01/2021 00:08

Really unpopular one from a heated thread I saw - I don’t think people with genital herpes should have to tell other people unless people with facial ones do. One doesn’t make you dirty when both cause it.

And slightly more innocuous - I don’t write thank you notes. Or Christmas cards.

cigsoffofthefloor · 03/01/2021 00:08

has no one here had one of those cheese twists from lidl?!

Cheeeeislifenow · 03/01/2021 00:08

Also people are so dramatic about covid restrictions, "I just desperately want to go to a restaurant my life is unbearable".
I'm in ireland and you hear this about the pubs"it's the only place men can have a chat it's good for their mental health"
If you can only chat with drink in you, you have an unhealthy addiction.
Also most mental health issues are due to poor life style and is situational as opposed to medical. (I include myself here!)

That this thread has allowed all the racist, sexist and homophobic mumsnetters a voice ...

DontWalkPastTheCastle · 03/01/2021 00:09

TOWIE and the like are for thick people.

Smoking is fucking brilliant, and sexy.

If you are entranced by a wacky name for your unborn child, you should change your own name by deed poll and see how it feels to introduce yourself as Pepper/Aeneas/Scooter.

HeelsHandbagPerfumeCoffee · 03/01/2021 00:09

I do not write thank you notes, and I don’t make my kids do it either.it’s a fussy affectation
