Can we have a thread of confessions you want to get off your chest and give us some lighthearted laughs to distract from the current situation.

I have a crush on one of my husbands friends. I have not acted on said crush, only in my head. I also hate my husband.

I told my children KFC chicken was free range because we only buy free range chicken and KFC is my favourite. When they got older I had to say that because of the recession KFC had stopped being able to use Free range. Thought it better than their friends telling them what a big lie I had told.🤥

Why don't I have an attractive BIL and why does DH only have 1 hot friend??

I'm the only one who eats satsumas / tangerines etc. I buy the very naice and very expensive Waitrose ones and dispose of the packaging.

For effect, if DH is ever with me in the shop I buy the bog standard ones.

DHs family are all anti screen time. DH less serious about it but isn't a huge fan. When toddler gets up at 5, 5.30, we have lots while I sit on the sofa and drink tea and eat biscuits waiting for the baby to wake/breastfeeding the baby/trying to get baby to nap - delete as appropriate on any particular day... Often totals an hour :-s oh well, if DH ever got out of bed to get up early with the children or up in the night and gave me a lie in, I might care more.

I have a secret savings account, just because DH is less concerned about having savings, has no regard for a budget and spends far more than I'd like. It's not intended to be malicious or to leave him or anything, I'd obviously declare it in any proceedings, it's only a few hundred at the moment but it's helpful to know it's there if everything really hit the fan with his work/covid. I might just pay it off the mortgage in a few years. He pays no regard to the finances as long as we're solvent pretty much, he won't notice.

My boss informed me i had 1 day holiday left before the end of the year!

We have a very demanding toddler, so i booked a day off when she was at nursery and my wife was at work, i never told my wife i took the day off!

I literally sat around all day doing fuck all!

A few nights ago after OH went to bed I let our two young cats outside for 20 minutes. When I called them back in only one returned. The other one eventually reappeared an anxious hour later, to my immense relief. OH adores the cats and would have my guts for garters if anything happened to them.

Yes. Thinking of a namechange and a random thread actually as have a shitload to get off my chest but oddly, dont want to be judged by even strangers on the internet!

Sometimes when I am feeling really pissed off I start a thread explaining what is bothering me and why and go into detail getting everything off my chest and then I read it and edit it and delete it. It's very cathartic

Did you really do that!? What a disgusting act!# There are currently 2 people in my life who I would like to do more than piss in their makeup. They will get their comeuppence one day.

When I was a kid I lived in an abusive household, after a particular event I wiped the toilet rim with my dads flannel- I could do anything directly about the situation so I think it was my revenge. I have been NC for 15 years now.
