Where you could just come on and offload your little sins you couldn't say in person.

Can we have a thread of confessions you want to get off your chest and give us some lighthearted laughs to distract from the current situation.

OP posts:

I read a book and spend hours on my tablet - I can see my dh come home from our front window, so I can get up , go the the kitchen and be ' busy' by the time he gets indoors.

DriftGames · 03/01/2021 18:23

@GeordieGreigsButtButtZoom genuinely amazed by your genius. Doing this next week. Thank you!

HeadIsFucked · 03/01/2021 18:33

@Mangermaid

I once took out a tampon to have sex with a soldier in his barracks. When we had finished I went home without my tampon and it got left on the barracks floor. I heard later that the whole barracks were playing football with it the next day. Blush
God I did this as a teen, though on the local cricket field Blush
Mangermaid · 03/01/2021 19:44

@HeadIsFucked Grin the things we do when we're young lol.

If your husband/partner is red hot on the card statement, he might notice the payment dates don't tally. I laid out for the shop on my personal account (joint was low) and then reimbursed myself from the joint one later (we have joint and personal accounts), but I don't think he would have twigged if I hadn't!

Badadabing · 03/01/2021 21:41

I was reminded by my Dd that when they were younger I used to say Gu chocolate pots had alcohol in so they weren't suitable for children.

LiteMyFyre · 03/01/2021 23:54

Drinking a few glasses of wine... And thinking of all these BIL fantasies. Weird thing is there must be an equivalent SIL fantasy? Not for me of course 😊 ... But for our DP, DH? Enough wine i think 😉

LiteMyFyre · 03/01/2021 23:56

I can't stop thinking about that now :(

MyMessageToYou · 04/01/2021 00:00

I've no sisters 🙂 but yes I assume there is a SIL fantasy??

Mincepiehangover · 04/01/2021 00:00

Great thread.
My boss quite often sends me home early. I never tell my mum who looks after dd, l drive to the nearest town and either have a nice coffee or a mooch about the shops in peace. Stupid thing is my mum would probably tell me to do exactly that if she knew.

Cabincrewclare · 04/01/2021 00:01

My husband denies fancying either of my sisters, but he has conceded that one of them is, in his words, extremely good looking. Don’t know if it makes a difference or is good or bad that it’s the one I don’t get on with at all lol.
MiceAttack · 04/01/2021 00:08

When DH takes the eldest up to bed, I have a secret chocolate bar. The babies are too young to snitch.

CircusMistress · 04/01/2021 00:12

About to finish the ben and Jerry's even though I had dessert earlier... and I don't intend to share :/

InkieNecro · 04/01/2021 00:31

@mariesatonhisknee just move your teams meeting to the other monitor and put whatever it is on the one with the webcam? Then you're looking straight at the screen.

grassisjeweled · 04/01/2021 00:39

So many BIL confessions, glad it's not just me! For the record, DH swears he doesn't fancy his SIL 🤔

tobee · 04/01/2021 01:01

I frequently tell cold callers at the door on the phone that I can't talk as my dc are in the bath. My dc are 25 & 21. They don't bath together btw.

The other day cold caller came to the door; me: "sorry, it's a really bad time. I'm right in the middle of something". Yeah I was in the middle of sleeping.

SpikySara · 04/01/2021 01:21

Sometimes I want to watch Netflix but DH and DS are both watching it and I only pay for two screens. So I log into the router from my phone and flip a coin to decide whose iPad will mysteriously stop connecting to the internet because I blocked it from accessing the network

Norabloody · 04/01/2021 01:29

I drink juice directly from the cartons of the “communal” family fridge
I don’t always wash my hands when I go to the toilet at home

Ladesiderata · 04/01/2021 09:20

Shortly after my husband and I had agreed to divorce, I had frantic sex with my then lodger on the kitchen table.
When taking down Christmas decs in the kitchen my son said 'the table won't take your weight' and it reminded me of how well it did.

KnotKnot · 04/01/2021 09:44

I have a really nice coffee maker and milk froth thingy. I'd always ask visitors if they'd like a regular or decaf. But only ever have decaf!

akitamiss · 04/01/2021 09:50

I always thought my first BF had a thing for my older sister. Maybe teenage insecurities, but maybe not.

If BIL fantasy is a thing (and it is!), then I'd assume SIL fantasy is too.

SapphireSeptember · 04/01/2021 17:29

Confession, I keep all my bedding in shopping bags in my wardrobe. I normally fold it neatly, the past few times I've washed some I've felt too lazy to do that, so I've just been rolling it up and shoving it in a bag.

I also wash said bags in the washing machine, a quick cool wash and a bit of washing liquid and they're nice and clean. Grin

I hate to be that person but decaf coffee can be dangerous for some people and can cause headaches! I can drink normal coffee but decaf would send me to bed with a migraine! Please let them know unless you're sure your tomfoolery is safe! sorry to be a knob Grin
Cakeonthefloor · 04/01/2021 19:35

When my DH or kids play music I don't like, I mute Alexa from the app on my phone.

RuthTopp · 04/01/2021 21:00

Pre-covid
We buy expensive tea leaves /bags.
I never used them when we had people over
