Sorry it’s the mail but this story is from 2014 so it’s been known for awhile but never picked up.

Wow. This story gets weirder and weirder by the day
However, it is not as uncommon as you would think. I once had a co worker who pretended to be mixed race ( she had dark hair and tanned skin) Supposedly her mother was from Angola and her father was Scottish
I later found out that both her parents were white English and she was born and brought up in Basildon

She lived on the same street as John Kerry and Ghislaine Maxwell's husband in Boston, in a very upmarket part of the city. The neighbour said she spent her whole childhood and teenage years there, 19 years before she moved to university.

Why would someone with such privileged upbriging change her entire life story and live it publicly, she must have known she'll be caught out one day.

I notice she has gone very quiet on Instagram. Not even any photos of the Baldwinitos.

I think there are reasons to think she’s behaved badly, taken Latina women’s opportunities etc but mainly it’s the dead time between Christmas and New Year and quite a mad story which is simply quite entertaining hence the interest

But also generally speaking people do not like being lied to.

And she has lied, for personal gain. Now they are trying to make fools of us by saying it's all other people's fault for being taken in by the lie.

I feel very rolly of eye about it. But if she were someone I followed or believed in or took inspiration from (or paid money to) then i would be fucking furious.

I wonder if there are more celebs doing the same who are now rather concerned about their public image.

There's a video of her mum talking about her own life and children. When she talks about her son she's like "oh my son Jeremy blah blah" in very normal fluid speech. Then she says "and my daughter" then gives this massive pause like she has to remember what to call her daughter, and sort of sounds out the syllables in "Ill-air-eee-ah" as though she's unfamiliar with saying it out loud.

So her mother at least clearly knew and was going along with it in public. (And from the difficulties she had pronouncing Hilaria maybe doesn't call her that in private.)

Ironically her husband describes her as the most emotionally healthy person he knows in the video in the OP.

But is anyone really surprised Alec Baldwin doesn’t recognise emotionally healthy behaviour?

The fact Alec Baldwin puts himself out there to try to influence politics in US makes it very important to scrutinise honesty about something as basic as where you were born and raised (ha ha, as if that's not glaringly obvious). It's a basic courtesy surely not to bare face lie to someone on such a question.

AB has one eye on a politics career. He is a known to be a bully and he is trying to bully/shame the "silly public" into accepting they're wrong and misunderstood Hilaria saying she was born in Spain.

It's all our fault. Identity politics all over - problem of the day. That's why it's important.

What does AB mean when he says "consider the source"?

I vaguely knew about his wife and remember reading her interview on Hello or something similar at hairdressers once and it definitely emphasised her being Spanish. That's the impression I had that AB has a quite a bit younger Spanish wife and very young children. I didn't realise there's five of them now though. On it's own it's not that weird, considering their wealth and that they can hire help but now with these lies, I think it's another red flag on her personality to give birth to so many children in such a short time.

Oh and to the PP in the last thread who said we should leave her alone because she's a mummy, well I can't roll my eyes enough at that.

If a man can put on a dress, call himself Susan and get a job meant for representation of women’s lived experience and everyone applauds her, why can’t Hilaria have her Spanish identity.

Be more angry about men taking women only spaces.

Always got a narcissistic vibe from her and this is typical.
