Contemplating a turkey sandwich but I can't be bothered to cook it so will probably have crisps and chocolate for dinner

DD2 is in the bath with a bath bomb. I'm trying to persuade her to come downstairs for some snacks for tea. She might be smurf blue though from the bath bomb!

Watching, 'Nan's Christmas Carol' on iPlayer. Drinking the cup of tea my husband made me earlier but it's gone cold.

My husband is updating his new address book that I bought him for Christmas. Which cost £10.50. £10 bastard pounds 50p ! Blimey Paperchase.

I bought him other presents too including some tech but for some reason it's the cost of the address book that stung the most !

I need to go to the toilet but I'll do that in a minute. I'm thinking about setting the table for tea but I can't be arsed right now. Maybe I'll do it in time for Coronation Street at 7pm. Nan's Christmas Carol might be finished by then.

Just finished a nice Christmas late lunch with my new DH 😊. Pootling about and making some coffee to soak up the red wine. We had a lovely walk in the sun this morning and Champagne/canapés at a local pub (last day of Tier 2 where we are).

Regretting all my food choices today. May need to do Christmas Poo Two: Electric Boogaloo.

Been on a super healthy diet since March. All the Christmas food was so tasty, but now my body is rejecting it.

In my jammies and we've brought the duvet downstairs whilst Shania Twain live in Vegas is on in the background, head bopping away with my OH. Sounds tragic but I'm having the best Christmas evening. Off for a baileys 😄

Reading on the sofa with a gin and tonic - DD off to bed shortly then some drink, games, film and snacks.

Pretending I'm not drunk on Marsala.

Trying my hardest to persuade DS (3) to stop singing and go to sleep!

Waiting to go to work later, still feel stuffed after dinner.

Playing a FIFA tournament with my DH, 15 and 17 year old. Also hanging on to DDog’s lead while he gets used to his new home. He’s peed on the carpet and beanbags twice now but he’s an absolute dote otherwise. Just about to go eat my body weight in trifle!

Lying on the couch scoffing chocolate and MNing with the TV on in the background. My DMum is next to me reading her new book. DH is in the basement working out and the teens have disappeared to their rooms after a really lovely morning opening presents and eating too much. Have to move my arse off the sofa in about 1/2 an hour to start thinking about food again! (We are 5 hours begging you in the UK).

Stuffing my face with chocolate . DP has just gone to work. DS is reading in bed.
We had a very low key lunch (in comparison to the feast I normally prepare) and tbh it’s been the best Christmas ever.
I’ve been on Baileys since 9am, had wine with lunch. Feeling heavy and bloated but still not ready to step away from the chocolate

Watching Freddy from Queen and reading mn .. amazing dd next me. Best times

Lying on a futon w dh and resting, listeningto an audiobook. Will stay here until the teens appear wanting food then instruct them to make sandwiches for us.
