DP ate the entire box of Xmas roses yesterday- it’s going to be a long few dayd

Aibu to be really pissed off. I bought a large box of roses chocs for xmas day & DP ate the whole fucking tub yesterday. I haven’t had any and the kids had 2 each.

I know it’s petty but it’s just fucking greedy/ selfish - it’s going to be a looooong few days 🤪

That’s a huge amount to consume so quickly. I’d find the gorging really unattractive..,unless he looks like the Diet Coke guy and it’s just an off day 😂

If he’s going to get another one before Christmas Day and you weren’t going to eat them before then ... .. what’s the matter?

Not a great dietary choice tbf but you’re not his mother.

But OP YANBU. For me it’s more the fact he ate something that you had planned to have on Christmas Day (and you didn’t get a look in) rather than the fact he polished off the tin. I agree that’s easily done when left to your own devices....

It was some pass ag move methinks. I am quietly seething. As is DD and I also find it totally bizarre.

I might be the only person on here to say it but...it's Christmas, lighten up. So what he ate it? He can buy more. It's hardly worth being angry over during Christmas given the year everyone has had...

Those tubs don't hold as much as they used to! I compared weights last year and there was less in a tub than in one of the cartons. I'd cut him some slack if he's replacing them tomorrow.

Ok my DP does this and it annoys me... but if a woman scoffs the lot then no one blinks and many would say " you deserve it". But I'll join in piggy swine!

I hide things I don't want DH or anyone else to eat.
Salad drawer in the fridge is good, or well-wrapped in the dirty laundry basket.

A few years ago now my DH came home from work one night about 3 weeks before Christmas and I sensed he was a bit down so to cheer him up I opened one of the many tubs I had bought for presents. Two weeks later I went to move them and he had eaten 3 of the tubs and left the empty tubs stacked with the full ones! Didn't replace them.
BTW are you a Depeche fan OP?

OP, your DP is just a beginner... my DH is half way through his fourth (4TH 😳) tub of Quality Street.
