Not burnt however butter was added too soon, toast should cool down before adding butter so it stays crunchy - fact!

It's obviously not burnt but i would reject it & try again to get to my favourite barely toasted piece. Unless DH had made it for me & then I would say lovely thank you very much.

He made me some toast that was basically warm bread and still white. I made some myself instead (seen in pic) and he was adamant it was burnt 🙄😅
