to think Matt Hancock looks knackered

Just watched Marr show
Tetchy, knackered
Obvious why - he must have an enormous workload and responsibility

But being knackered and tetchy can't be good for decision making.

He's my local MP.

Grossly out of his depth and has left us hung and dry while focusing on making more money from his Newmarket pals.

Utter waste of space.

I feel quite sorry for the whole cabinet (and even more so for everyone directly affected by covid, of course). Matt Hancock and Boris Johnson look utterly broken. I think they're in an impossible situation, trying to feel their way along in the dark where the landscape is constantly changing, and changing so rapidly that there is no time for the usual checks and careful consideration, so mistakes are made. It must be so stressful.

@chomalungma

Agree 100%

I don’t know anything about him but what I truly fucking hate is the bitching and whining about how shit he is. The British public behave like toddlers (esp on mumsnet) and it’s time it stopped.

We can’t make him accountable for anything because people think it’s reasonable to blame him for everything from next door farting to the wind blowing the wrong way. If something becomes remotely difficult for the average Brit its automatic - well, it’s all the governments fault! Constant endless mindless bitching without any real research or thought process. It doesn’t make you clever to blame the government for everything but the end result is the opposite of what you are trying to achieve. With all the constant mudslinging nobody can actually see the bits of shit.

I blame them for the appointing their mates to jobs they can't do and handing out bundles of our money to them. I blame them for not locking down fast enough in March when pretty well everyone was telling them they needed to. If that makes me a toddler great at least I'm not a mug.

And yet they could have actually followed science instead of paying it lip service.

Still no sympathy from me for this bunch of overpaid arseholes and their desire to line their mates pockets.
