There was a snippet in our papers (Scotland) that aircraft call sign Tyson was incoming at some point soon. Apparently it’s USA vip.
Now if it is him will he come on Airforce1 only to be taken away within days. -:)

I was interested on reading the transcripts of that phone call to notice that the Georgian officials seemed to be asking him to show them his evidence. They had obviously been in touch with Rudi Giuliani and others and tried to get the evidence that was to be shown in court, had they ever got to court.

Therefore we can assume there isn't any evidence at all of any of it (which we knew already of course).

I too hope he doesn't come to Ireland Hmm.

I think I read somewhere that he removed Melania's new decor at the other White House.
I read the same thing on a couple of news sites. Apparently she'd redone some rooms in dark wood and white marble. He supposedly called Mar-a-Lago staff and told them to 'rip it out' then and there.

With his penchant for OTT (and tacky) gilt 'everything' and gold-veined marble I'm not surprised if this is true.

Apparently the QAnon folk are travelling to Washington DC to cause trouble outside the WH. Civil unrest seems increasingly likely. The date they are all waiting on now is January 6th 🙄

In the telephone call which President Trump ensured was not being recorded with Giuliani, the two discussed how a life in a UK penal facility would be no problem for someone who was used to what the President referred to as 'a great life'. Both Trump and Giuliani mentioned how UK prisons were like holiday camps according to what the President referred to as 'A great thing the British government have - it's like our federal reports they call it 'The Express' as I guess, well, it's the quickest way to tell the people what the real truth is.'. As of going to press we were unable to contact anyone in the UK who knew a thing. Although that could be anyday really.

I can't see how the challenge can win, from what I understand about the process in Congress. There are too many Republicans who are not going to be supporting them. There are only a third of senators involved.

All that's going to happen is that these rebels are going to leave the Republican Party deeply divided.

With such efficiency, you'd be hard pressed to think it wasn't the entire point.

One thing some less thick Republicans might ponder on (if such a rare beast exists, they really do seem to bear comparison with UK Tories for a lot of characteristics) is that had Trump won then it's highly likely that we would now be discussing the events of the previous two months as the US equivalent of the Night of the Long Knives. Where Trump - with his victory - purged any hint of non cult membership from "the Party".

So, ironically, there are probably more than a few Republicans who - whether they know or not - owe their career if not their life to the Biden win.

This is playing out pretty-much as I expected that it would, though I had hoped some of his enablers would take a step back, say "yes yes" and not actually follow his madder requirements.

Several threads back I said that the period between his losing and his finally being evicted from the White House would be the time of serious danger.
