I hope that he is shattered, humiliated and embarrassed, full of shame. I would like it if he were completely crushed, so much so that he retreated into a little ball of self pity and LEFT US ALL ALONE.

And I'd like people to stop ignoring it when he cheats at golf, too. For anyone he is playing against to say, "No, Mr Trump, you've miscounted that" and "No, that wasn't your ball" and the like.

He deserves to be put where he has put millions of other people, if he hasn't actually caused their deaths (I am thinking here of Kurds and Saudis and Afghans and Iranians and Latin Americans as well as all the people he's betrayed in his own country; all the people including little children he has deprived of hope): somewhere in a little hope-free hell all of his own with no comfort from anyone.

Is this a concerning number? I don't have a sense of how many objections they need for a risk of the election not being confirmed... I can see it being a procedural pain in the backside and waste of time!

Yeh my understanding is that it's got virtually zero chance of overturning the election. TBH I'm more concerned that Trump may use the last weeks in office to start a war with Iran.

It might not be concerning in a technical way, but it's very concerning that so many people whose very job it is to be part of the democratic system, are happily showing how little regard they have for the democratic process.

The Dem Party did not try obstruct Trump's installment as president even though the agencies were investigating the attack on the election. They put protecting US democracy above taking power for 4 years.

Some members of the Republican Party are showing they have disdain for democracy, and are more than happy to attempt to trash it in the hope of gaining power.

Their behaviour is shameful.

The contrast to Republicans who've actually worked hard to make democracy happen, like Brad Spaffenberger, is stark.

Deafening silence, too, from all the little cheerleaders on MN who whinged "You don't understand democracy, you're supposed to shut up now", at anyone continuing to state they didn't support Brexit after the referendum.

We're still allowed to state our opinion even if the majority voted a different way. It's still right to hold investigations into breaches of election law or failures of election processes.

What we're not allowed to do is storm the gates of Downing Street / the White House and attempt to install a tyrant, or to defy the results even after they've been repeatedly tested in court.

These Trumpista House members happen to be cogs in the process, and are determined to leverage that to attack the process itself.

So where are those MNers who whined at mere members of the public for merely expressing an opinion?

(1) For two months we have focused on accusing the Democrats of attempting to steal the 20/20 election for Biden. We focused on the Presidential election.

We focused on the obvious.

Over time, we have learned that the Democrats were joined by CCP & other foreign countries.

(2) We have also learned that the Globalists like George Soros & the Elitists like Bill Gates were involved. CIA too (no surprise - military industrial complex).

It all seemed so clear we overlooked one of the main participants in the theft of the election:

THE REPUBLICANS.

(3) These groups aspire to the goals of Communism. A ruling elite & an oppressed class of people who exist to serve those in power.

When arrests for treason begin, put Chief Justice John Roberts, VP Mike Pence @VP @Mike_Pence, & Mitch McConnell @senatemajldr
at top of list.

If Pence is arrested, @SecPompeo will save the election. Pence will be in jail awaiting trial for treason. He will face execution by firing squad. He is a coward & will sing like a bird & confess ALL.
