It's not missing the point at all. It's bloody weird there are 3 of them and makes it look even more deliberate. I would imagine that 99% of t shirt, jumpers or clothing with a shoe design woukd either have just 1 shoe or an even number of shoes to depict pairs. 3 shoes just makes the design even more odd.

I am convinced this isn't an error, it's a deliberately rude design. The fact it's a top for little girls makes it quite unpleasant.
