They are a lazy weeknight dinner when you are too tired to cook or have run out of veg before the weekly food shop. Christmas day is a feast day. Unless they are one of your favorite foods then they are not what I would choose on Xmas day.

Sounds horrible.
Fish fingers are tasteless at the best of times, never mind being stuffed bewteen two slices of processed loaf.

Not acceptable on Christmas Day or any time EVER in my house. Fish fingers are revolting and ketchup only belongs on hotdogs.

Christmas day brekky is hot bread rolls with champagne or pastries with champagne here.

Well the fish fingers never made an appearence 😄. Lobster tails and champers did.

Vom. Lobster tails ?!?!?
I was completely with you up until this post.

Whereas I am fond of a fishfinger sandwich, it has no place on a breakfast table on any day of the year - is definitely a lunch or tea. On Christmas day it is even odder, as overwhelmingly people wll be having a full cooked orast later, and also, no doubt stuffing themselves with other goodies throughout the day.
However, 'lobster tails' sounds vile, so, if a choice were offered, I'd back the ff sarnie all the way now.
