I think it’s unfair to say she has had basic rights removed, or that her life has damaged her. From what was on the court documents, and only the initial summary was available when lodged, she has a mental illness she will never recover from, and it is likely genetic and only became apparent as she reached maturity.
She seemingly has no decision making ability, I think one of her lawyers stated asking her to sign a court document was no different to asking a coma patient, she has no capability.
It is very sad, but she has a care manager who lives with her, and many other staff, and the conservatoirship is to protect her.
She objects to her father doing it, but not the conservatorship it’s self snd wants her care manager to do it. However you need to remember she doesn’t have the ability to make that decision, or understand the consequences of it.
I’m sure there is stuff her father does she doesn’t like. What’s not understood is is he doing it in her best interests, and the courts, and the huge medical team the court put into independently assess her feel he is. And that she needs this. Hence why they have continued it.
The fact she might want to go do stuff, or be pissed her dad doesn’t let her, is actually irrelevant it’s whether she’s capable of doing that stuff and the decision to do it is in her best interests.
It’s like just because your five year old wants to go play with the big dog next door, doesn’t mean you will let them. Becayse you can assess the risk much better. Your five year old will be upset they can’t go play with rhe dog, but you know you’re saying no to protect them.
It’s very rare people are in the public eye this young, she was sixteen when hit me baby was released, and then it’s later found as they reach early adult hood that they have a serious mental condition that they can’t recover from.
