Just that. I rarely use Instagram but found myself scrolling Britney Spears account today. It’s incredibly unnerving. She is clearly very very unwell. I found some of her videos disturbing and hard to watch.

I was quite shocked by the fully naked photos too, though it screams as a "fuck you, I can do whatever I like now and won't be controlled" which I can understand after essentially being a prisoner for the past 13 years.

I suspected this would happen. Her younger grifter of a boyfriend will get her pregnant and hey presto 18 year long payday. Knew he was in it for the long con. Heard he’s an acquaintance of Sam Lufti that other conman who made her end up with a conservatorship in the first place. They were both actively involved in the ‘Free Britney’ (of her money) movement.

Maybe her dad wasn’t the best conservator but she is clearly very unwell and needs a responsible adult to watch out for her. Otherwise she’ll end up broke and like Anna Nicole Smith.

I read something today that quoted boyfriend saying he was “going to take care of her now”..or something similar.
My gut reaction to that was that it isn’t a good sign. She is not a child that needs to be looked after by an adult , but a women in her own right. If she does have mental health issues that she is going to be stepping out of a conservative legal framework with her father to a non legal controlling relationship with a boyfriend. 🤔🙄

I imagine he is daddy-approved seeing as he was allowed to stick around. That cannot be good.

Many many celebs are parading around nearly naked or topless , it just seems a bit “ off “ in her situation.

Yes I can see her becoming pregnant, she’s spoken about contraception in court recently , that she wasn’t allowed to remove her IUD , so she herself is obviously thinking about it too.

I've seen the pictures and whilst I get that it could be done as a fuck you to her dad, it also looks like she needs the help. Most adults don't keep posting fully naked pictures (unless earning money of course) especially when their own children are old enough to see. I think these kind of pictures make the argument for a conservatorship stronger tbh, although I don't agree with it. Maybe she actually does need someone to advise her on things as she came into fame and money from a very young age.

I suppose the upside, if you can call it that, is that she’s not out of the conservership yet. Her Dads been suspended, she has her own lawyer now, supposedly acting in her best interests and the judge hasn’t ruled if he will dissolve the conservship, especially without a medical evaluation. So, there is a chance that she can still get the help she needs and this fiancé might not get his hooks into her money.

To be fair I would be pretty fucked up if I had gone through what she has. She can’t really trust anybody to be there just for her, her family, friends, management team, all have betrayed her, used her, enslaved her… In her eyes I suspect she sees this fiancé as the only person she’s had on her side in all this. I really do hope he’s not as bad as we all think.

I think Britney is ill and will get more ill without the conservatorship.

That said, I don't think the conservatorship was 'done' properly, for want of a better way to describe it, but she does still need some kind of help.

Maybe she does need support as she is ill. But the conserveship takes too many of her human rights away. How many of us post on social media and people think wtf! She isn't harming any one or herself with her posts. If she wants to twirl round and round and post it every day she should be allowed. Sounds like she has been controlled emotionally and financially abused for years. That would affect anyone. The poor girl has been through allot and it will take time.

I don't disagree the conservatorship was completely unacceptable, but she seems as though she needs some form of help. Let's be honest, if you were trying to convince people you could cope on your own without intervention, would you really decide to start posting naked photos. It doesn't help the case. And right now she needs to convince a judge she doesn't need it.
She has been through a lot and if she needs support and guidance, this needs to be properly given.

I think perhaps somebody totally independent should be assigned to assist her, going forward. She's obviously unwell, but even unwell people are entitled to their freedom. I just think it's sad that people are after her money and don't have her best interests at heart.

Yes, same. And I was actually prepared to say that people are overthinking it (possibly by the content not matching the picture-perfect expectations of a pop star's instagram - ie comments about smudged eye makeup etc). But no, she really seems very unwell.

I'm slightly confused of some of the claims over the year(s). I'd heard she was like a prisoner in her own home but she manages to her off on holiday and she's been driving around talking about one of the songs she wrote.. She wasn't allowed a phone despite evidence to the contrary (posting on social media and being photographed holding her phone).

I personally think she is quite unwell mental health wise and I'm not even really convinced her dad is the bad guy. He's said before that he can't spend her money as every cent has to be accounted for and cross checked with another person. I'm hoping he's trying to look after her and protect her, her money and her children's future inheritance from people using her and probably even from herself.

I have a mental illness and I've always found the thought of being that controlled terrifying. I mean seriously scares the shit out of me. I've been sectioned several times but it's a very tightly legislated part of health care. If she needs help, she should have it provided by HCPs who are continually expected to justify any restrictions. It shouldn't just be accepted to just go on for years

She's talked in the past about having bipolar disorder. With individuals who have bipolar and large amounts of money, I would say it's sensible for her not to be able to access it all.

Shes been the victim of state sanctioned coercive control for 13 long years. Can we please stop pathologising someone we've never met? She was allegedly recorded at all times and if she broke the house rules she would be punished by having contact with her children withheld. She has an IUD she isnt allowed to have removed. She has been forced to perform a gruelling schedule for years in vegas. She asked for Jamie to have random drug tests and was essentially laughed out of court. Her estate is worth a fraction of Taylor Swift due to probable embezzlement.

Why? All because she kicked off at a reporter and cut her hair. Let that sink in.
