To be Freaked Out by Sainsbury's Doing This?

Has anyone else had a mailshot from Sainsbury's with a mini advent calendar of vouchers in it?

Apparently (according to this) I was the No. 1 top buyer of passata this year

Really? In the whole of the UK? We're a family of 4, so we're not feeding the 5000 or anything...

I'm a bit freaked out that Sainsbury's think I want to know this.

And actually, I'd rather have a spreadsheet showing my ranking on all the other 750 different products I apparently bought this year! [boggles] (I did lockdown shopping for MIL and two other elderly neighbours )

YANBU- we know companies do this, but don't flaunt it in our faces!
YABU- that's what you get for succumbing to 'loyalty' cards!

Anyone else had a vision of OP staggering out of Sainsbury's with two trolleys-full of passata to stock up her passata hoard?

I'm now imagining her sitting in an alleyway, glugging passata out of the bottle, wrapped in a paper bag. Or sneakily filling up a water bottle with passata and taking sneaky sips at work so nobody finds out about her crippling passata addiction.

We apparently are the largest buyers of their super seeded loaves. Thats 2 packed lunches for DH/DS and my DDs sandwiches.Always knew we were a sandwich loving family! Liked it ,looking forward to another window to open this week .(Dont get out much!) Oh wasnt there some sort of a pandemic going around or something! Seriously ,Well done SB .Have shopped in there for what seems like forever and go a couple of times a week for milk and oh yes er Bread?!

Well I walked into my local branch last night and asked for a bottle of Bombay Sapphire , and the guy said “ You love this stuff don’t you?”

I slinked out, as they say.

OMG, haven’t read the full thread but have come on to say there is NO WAY you can have bought more passata than me this year😳🤣🤣🤣!! Where are my vouchers?🤬....have been locked down with 4 kids plus OH and eldest teenager is allergic to dairy so almost every sauce I make is tomato based.....Seriously WTF🤷🏼‍♀️

This is really funny. I would be a bit freaked out too! I think I would be very high for Sainsbury’s own jars of sliced jalapeños. They make lovely quesadillas mixed with cheese in a tortilla sandwich and cooked in a cast iron pan.

I am rather proud to be the biggest buyer of avocados at Bridgwater M&S

They all seem to be very healthy or nice foods that people are purchasing, what about the slightly less glamorous cheese strings, pickled onions, mushy peas, do people not buy these in Sainsbury’s.
Does a top shagger award go to the biggest purchaser of condoms, what about chronic piles sufferers. Don’t think I like these companies knowing all my guilty habits.

I’m disappointed I haven’t received one of these, I love this kind of thing.

The highlight of this week was when I received the Spotify equivalent, maybe Sainsburys should follow suit, Spotify provided me with a playlist of my top 100 songs (as well as a very entertaining montage type thing), my top 100 Sainsburys products would be a nice Christmas gift!

I've noticed a move towards this. Apparently I was the 13th biggest buyer of burgers in our local markses in August
