To be deceived by Quaker oats

I also assumed that the Quaker oat sachets were different to the box of ‘rolled oats’ (the former are branded as quick cook, maybe more finely processed). An investigation reveals that they’re virtually identical, and that the big box is actually a con. What I assumed it would be is the third variety of oats depicted in this picture (M&S wholegrain oats), which are so clearly superior in texture etc..

AIBU? I thought ‘wholegrain rolled oats’ were the good stuff but clearly I’m wrong.

@ArabellaScott

I have poured some oats to be companionable, and will now sit here in silence until moved to eat.
I will think of you all on Sunday morning as I eat my oats. Mornflake are good.

@cbt944

Quick oats come with a bonus high percentage of insect parts per pack.
Mmm, insect parts; just think of the added protein.

@JacobReesMogadishu Asda do coconut porridge sachets! Just checked and they seem to be in stock, only 79p for a box of 8 packets too.
