Matt Hancock..awful. Anyone else feel the same?

Like an overexcited public school boy revelling in telling us what we can and can’t do.

The whole situation is starting to give me the creeps. Today I hit my breaking point. Such a shitty time for society

I'm a Labour voter but I think given the gallery of ghouls in the Tory frontbenches currently- there is a lot worse than him!

awwwww yeh. Hes done his best by shovelling millions of pounds of public money to his mates for dodgy goods.

user1471565182 · 27/11/2020 04:17

well Osirus, id have listened to scientists, not used it as a chance to line mine or my mates pockets and I wouldnt have tried fucking 'herd immunity'.

I remember him early on in his career giving a speech to just 10 of us in a room. He was absolutely bricking it, hands shaking, everything. He's come a long way. He has pretty bad dyslexia apparently, has to really get briefed up. Seems one of the nice guys to me, there are many other people you'd be better off picking on, OP. Go for the Brexit ERG Tories - they're rich pickings.

@Leafyhouse That's interesting, so maybe I'm reading him right then - someone who's naturally a bit shy and was nervous of being in the public eye, but went into politics so had to overcome those feelings. I can identify with that - not in a million years could I stand up and make a speech or do a presentation. It's a strange career choice for him - maybe he genuinely wanted to make a difference?

I've got a soft spot for the guy, he's trying his best with probably the most unpopular job in the country. I quite often watch him and feel like somebody's briefing him before hand and saying "and you need to smile more Matt" so he tries but it's so awkward that it comes out as that odd smirk/grimace that people see and take offence at.

I can picture him a gimp mask, licking boots and begging for forgiveness.
