That man has the worst job in the country right now. He hasn't flaked away like some of the others. He's been wheeled out countless times when the shit has been flying around. He doesn't strike me as a backstabbing, misogynist empathy-vacuum like eg. Rees-Mogg.

Our health secretary could be worse. I know this is hardly a ringing endorsement, however

I literally said this to a friend yesterday. I'm sure he never thought he'd be in so much shit when he first got this job and I like him. He's interrogated every other morning on Breakfast and always speaks calmly and doesn't flounder like most of the other current MPs do.

He's ok in my eyes.

I honestly dont know why as a general rule dont like Torys but I'm afraid to say I quite like him. Must have been locked up for too long now.

I think we got over familiar in the first wave daily bulletins or maybe a mini breakdown but I was impressed he could string a direct sentence together without needing to check his notes.

But I quite fancy Tom Hiddleston as Loki so maybe it's a evil villain phase?

I find him totally repulsive for no reason - soon as I saw/heard him - but I’ll accept that’s just a not very nice of me reaction. However, he has been downright rude and patronising when cornered - to the Labour Dr MP who asked a valid question, and the MP for Luton I think, who asked why he’d ‘misspoke’ re working with his council the previous week - really came over as if he just knew he was better than them and as if they weren’t worth his manners - made me cringe. I accept his job is stressful but sometimes he really does show a nasty, spiteful streak to others. Many MPs don’t seem to agree with my politics 🤷🏼‍♀️ but the majority retain some semblance of politeness in public - really made me question his possible -isms - so can’t understand how people think he is an ok guy with this behaviour.

I noticed yesterday when there was an alleged malfunction in the link to Downing Street (which I don't believe for one second), Matt Hancock had to step in and take the awkward questions which Mr Johnson had dodged.

I maintain my opinion he is just a man overpromoted and out of his depth.

He doesn't always help himself much - it was making me cringe watching Piers Morgan ask about the MP pay rise and whether MH would be accepting his. I would have do much more respect for a person who just answered that question openly.

Some of the comments on here are giving me the creeps. Honestly, what goes on in some people's brains to think it's acceptable to talk about another human being like that? Imagine it was reversed and someone eviscerated your character in those terms?

And yet people wonder why the standard of politicians in this country is poor. So many people who would be good must be discouraged by this sort of thing.

I do think people should steer clear of implying certain things about other people on the internet, unless they'd be happy to defend that position in court.

I think he is a potential family annialator, all respectability until something doesn't go his way..,.
