Has anyone had what they thought was periods during pregnancy ????
I haven’t been well recently, suppose you could say pregnancy symptoms. My issue is we haven’t actually done the deed in months and I have had what I thought was periods. I have been vomiting a lot/ been bloating and sorry for the tmi but piles came back ( haven’t had them since second pregnancy 7 years ago )
I just took a test this afternoon which has come up as a very clear positive, took another and the same result.
I am so confused right now. I will book an appointment with doctor of course but I’m in completely freak out mode.
It defo wouldn’t be planned I have 2 DC 13 and nearly 7.
Partner and I have been friends for a very very very long time but only started dating 11 months ago.
I don’t know what I am actually asking 🤣

@Whattheactual20201

Has anyone had one of these lines ( shoes a bit of arm but that’s it haha sorry ) I have like a line at the bottom of my belly ?
Odds are definitely pregnant I'd say. What with the positive tests and the line on belly (look up Linea nigra) !

Congratulations Smile

DriftGames · 11/11/2020 20:56

Pm, good luck OP!

Whattheactual20201 · 11/11/2020 20:58

Ahh I really want to speak to my partner. I have messaged him to ask if he can come around ( he is our bubble by the way ) but do I tell him or do I wait but then how long am I waiting for and I just don’t want to make my self sick of worry that he will abandon ship like the dc father did with second pregnancy.

I think you're pregnant too OP. I didn't know until 14 weeks with DD2 and it sounds very similar - periods, piles, sickness, "bloating", tiredness etc. Good luck Flowers

BackAwayFatty · 11/11/2020 21:00

When I though my I was bloated & a little pregnant, I turned out to be 20 weeks 🤣 She's now 11 & wonderful. I would say tell your partner then find out how far along together. Sounds like he will be a great support to you 🙂

HeartsTrumpDiamonds · 11/11/2020 21:01

Oh dear x-post.

I'm sorry you have those fears OP - this should be a happy if hugely unsettling and unexpected time. I hope he steps up to the plate.

Goldensnitchy · 11/11/2020 21:04

I am so invested in this! Op if you fancy taking a picture from the side standing up too Grin Grin

GlitteryUnicornSparkles · 11/11/2020 21:04

Omg! The suspense..!

I’m going with April! Shock

I’d tell him then find out how far along together.

TooExtraImmatureCheddar · 11/11/2020 21:09

Not placemarking at all, noooo!

LouiseTrees · 11/11/2020 21:11

I think you have to tell him now yes. Then if he asks questions you can say “ I don’t know, I just took the test but I’m making a doctors appointment first thing tomorrow”.

threetethree · 11/11/2020 21:14

Good luck op!

Whattheactual20201 · 11/11/2020 21:15

@HeartsTrumpDiamonds I honestly know deep down he won’t !
He is a lovely guy who has known me for 20 odd years and I’m only 28 🤣
I’m wondering how my brother will react ( they have been best friends a v long time ) hahaha

Whattheactual20201 · 11/11/2020 21:20

Ginfizplease · 11/11/2020 21:31

Eek I'm dying to know how far along you are!

baubled · 11/11/2020 21:36

Piles were 3rd trimester for me too! I'm no expert on bump sizes but I would guess 7 months over 3 (especially if you rang the GP in June, 2 months in!)

RedRedRobinBobbin · 11/11/2020 21:38

You definitely look like you have a bit of a bump, you could try measuring it for an idea of gestation.

olivesnutsandcheese · 11/11/2020 21:38

Oh I'm so excited for you. Be prepared for your son to be grossed out though Grin

Whattheactual20201 · 11/11/2020 21:42

@olivesnutsandcheese defo harder when they know the proper process 🤣

Me and DP has been “ seeing each other “ for a while before we became exclusive 11 months ago however everyone already knew him because his a very close family
Friend.
When we announced it my son was defo the most grossed out followed closely by my brother who is still getting over the shock of his best friend and little sister so this will be interesting 🤣🤣🤣
