Has anyone had what they thought was periods during pregnancy ????
I haven’t been well recently, suppose you could say pregnancy symptoms. My issue is we haven’t actually done the deed in months and I have had what I thought was periods. I have been vomiting a lot/ been bloating and sorry for the tmi but piles came back ( haven’t had them since second pregnancy 7 years ago )
I just took a test this afternoon which has come up as a very clear positive, took another and the same result.
I am so confused right now. I will book an appointment with doctor of course but I’m in completely freak out mode.
It defo wouldn’t be planned I have 2 DC 13 and nearly 7.
Partner and I have been friends for a very very very long time but only started dating 11 months ago.
I don’t know what I am actually asking 🤣

Can you feel the top of your uterus? That might give you an idea of roughly how many weeks you are?

(i think it normally gets to around belly button level about halfway through pregnancy).

It sort of feels like a semi-solid shape that you can feel the rounded top of, as opposed to the normal empty squishiness of your tummy (probably a terrible description that doesn't help at all!).

OP I think you might be 7 months pregnant, my best friend didn’t have much of a bump at all until she was around 6/7 months then it suddenly “popped”. My money is on April rather than August!

Drink something cold and see if you can feel/see kicks. 7 month along kicks would be stronger than 3 month ones (I'm guessing; I can't remember any more!)

From that photo, you're way further than 3 months. It's as pregnant a tummy as I've ever seen.

You have your + results, so there's no doubt & I imagine you're looking at April for conception.

I know you're being cheerful & pragmatic, fair play. I'd be concerned as it's a lot to take on, especially as DP doesn't live with you but I hope you've good support. 💐

@ChikiTIKI I am far from calm, I have eaten a Big Mac, chicken nuggets, fries, 3 dairy milks, 2 packs of nicnaks and a Victoria sponge cake in the time of this conversation 🤣
I can’t really freak out as DC are in the house haha I am shocked and a bit confused but yes the piles have absolutely sucked !

He won't be getting the train so can he stay and still get to work tomorrow. Not fair to only have a few minutes after you've told him. Plus you don't want to be worrying he is doing a runner when he just needs to go home.

My friend found out she was pregnant at 7 months. She had absolutely no idea, she'd had "periods" too. And didn't look pregnant at all.

I'd put good money on you being between 6 and 7 months pregnant, on account of the piles and bigger dress size.

Good luck with telling your DP. My first was a surprise baby and we weren't living together at the time, we were just starting to see each other, not even officially an item! OMG it was nervewracking telling him. 8 years later he's sat beside me while I write this.
