To be worried that Biden could be worse than Trump

Regarding foreign policy that is. I worry that Biden could be more hawk like than Trump and start or get involved in lots of wars? But I’m so pleased Trump is going, i couldn’t stand the man and I remember when he first got in I was petrified he’d start the next big war. But he didn’t and now I worry if Biden will be the one.

@SurroundedByIdiotsEverywhere

It’s not difficult to find Biden’s policies. Better than Trump flying from one half baked idea to the next.

I’ve sure you are aware of the Vice President’s name. Why not use it.

The US working class in middle America who support Trump believe that he stopped more factory jobs being shipped wholesale overseas to lower wage economies, frumpety. The truth remains to be seen, but until COVID kicked off, he did preside over three and a half years of income and job growth, and thought he was on for automatic re-election.

XingMing · 10/11/2020 20:31

When I said above isolationist, I meant that most of America thinks that what happens outside the contiguous USA is irrelevent.

Apologies to the poster who raised the comment, I've scrolled so far down I can't tag you.

YogiBearcub · 10/11/2020 20:31

Frankly Trump came pretty close to causing big issues in the Middle East with moving the US embassy in Israel to Jerusalem! Furthermore his constant beating down on Iran with more sanctions has also put the ME situation more at risk than its been for years. Personally I'm much more worried about further instability in the middle East than I ever was about rocketman. He has no axe to grind with Europe.

There was no way Trump would have started a war. It would cost too much money.

Agree Trump was a cert until Covid which makes the fact Biden won more to do with a convenient virus than his actual policies

Trump killed an Iranian general in Iraq, that came close.

The Biden Harris ticket was announced during covid, so what you state as fact is just speculation.
Trump didn't have the ability to handle a crisis, people saw that and voted accordingly, same as Johnson's popularity has waned dramatically for similar reasons.

blueangel19 · 10/11/2020 21:27

Think I will shut up now or I will get a bag load of abuse

Some people go mental if they hear something that is not an insult for Trump.

What I am more worry about is that the US media is having like one way view about. May be not neutral news but like propaganda. That is concerning as well as people like AOC making lists to punish Trump voters( see her Twitter)

caringcarer · 10/11/2020 21:30

Trump has been first US president not to send troupe anywhere. He calmed things down in Middle East and even tried to build s relationship with Kim Yong um. Biden was Vice President under Obama who did send troupe to Iraq. I am.more concerned about his mental health. He called Trump George, and he called his own granddaughter his dead son's name. By the end of 5 years he will be over 80. Hoping he will just leave it for Kamila Harris to just quietly take over. Boden will be s lame duck president anyway as Republicans have the Senate and took 4 more seats in the house.

4 years not 5.

as far as our country is concerned ,Biden is pro Europe ,anti brexit, at least with Trump, we did have a chance

switswooo · 10/11/2020 22:17

I think YANBU. I'm glad Trump has gone but I wouldn't trust Biden/Kamala, America still has a thirst for oil and will start wars in its pursuit.

switswooo · 10/11/2020 22:21

@SurroundedByIdiotsEverywhere

Biden (if elected, not just by the MSM) is just a front, he memory is shot but the MSM refused to point it out...

Camalla or whatever she is called is a left-wing nutjob!

If you think the last four years were problematic, just wait and see...

If you can take the time to learn and spell Joe Biden's name, then you can take the time to learn and spell Kamala Harris' name. It is racist to think you have a free pass on not spelling BAME people's names correctly.

Bluethrough · 10/11/2020 22:24

I am more concerned about his mental health

Trump suggests injection bleach and you are more concerned with Biden calling Donald "George" ???
George Lopez was conducting the interview ......

You never called someone the wrong name before?

Justbrutallyhonest · 10/11/2020 22:26

Obama inherited some of his wars from Bush, and it’s true in the past we have relied on the USA to be the world police with ourselves in tag, but it’s also a myth to think that Trump has been giving flowers and peace to the world, North Korea was a failure it’s only last month that they broke there trump agreement and continued nuclear testing, he caused an international debacle with Iran and it was only the cool heads of the Iranians that stopped it from escalating, I think the figure was he sent twice as many troops to the Middle East that he sent home from Afghanistan, with selected places being regularly drone bombed. Plus relations with China and Russia haven’t been as bad for decades, when as recently as 2015 China and the USA came together in the Paris accord that Trump left this week

Bluethrough · 10/11/2020 22:27

Camalla or whatever she is called is a left-wing nutjob

Hardly, as a prosecutor, she was quite hardline, opposed many justice reforms too.

Ddot · 10/11/2020 22:28

He did not suggest injecting bleach

bellinisurge · 10/11/2020 22:28

Have we accidentally inherited a bunch of Trump clowns on here? WTAF

Bluethrough · 10/11/2020 22:31

@Ddot

He did not suggest injecting bleach
"And then I see the disinfectant where it knocks it out in a minute. One minute. And is there a way we can do something like that, by injection inside or almost a cleaning?

"So it'd be interesting to check that."

Pointing to his head, Mr Trump went on: "I'm not a doctor. But I'm, like, a person that has a good you-know-what."

FOJN · 10/11/2020 22:36

I agree. It's hard to retain your credibility when you insist Trump is a fascist and then behave like a fascist yourself.

Can’t imagine Trump and Pence doing this!

willstarttomorrow · 10/11/2020 22:47

OP, I am guessing you usually are not a keen follower of politics? I know that sounds judgemental but it is not meant to be. Trump has done a good job in undermining a very experienced, thoughtful politician who has in the past worked with a number of leaders on global issues and is respected. He is a bit like Gordon Brown, very experienced and safe pair of hands who knows his stuff. Unfortunately not charismatic and will have to clear up a shit storm.
