OH complaining about my dinners

I've just made a lovely tuna bake creamy garlicy cheese sauce sweet corn and tuna and some garlic bread.

OH left all his dinner and ate all the garlic bread and said my pasta was plain. He will quite happily Scoff his mum watery tomato pasta (vile) and will scoff maccies everyday.

I'm actually sick of cooking for him as he's always got something to complain about.

He can eat it or leave it.
If you and the children enjoy your cooking carry on as you are.

I stopped cooking for my DH many years ago. It was not a choice that has been kind to our budget, but it saved our marriage and we are lucky to be able to absorb the financial implications.

My ex used to tell me, 'I don't know why you watch cooking programmes - you can't cook' I just replied, 'Well you watch porn’

  1. Stop cooking for his ungrateful arse. You and the kids like it, so he can sort himself.
  1. Cheese and fish together, with pasta?... the entire nation of Italy just gasped in horror.
  1. That said, the complaint would not be that it lacked flavour.

My DH is the other way bless him. I can cook something and comment that it's not as tasty as I would have liked and he's just wolfed the lot down and said thanks! Then pottered off to clean up the kitchen!

YABU... for not sharing the recipe - sounds lush!

As for your OH, I'd tell him to cook his own food!

The minute DH complains about his meal, scrape it into the dog's dish.
