To ask you where to get the best brownies online - to send to student children amongst others?

Yup, I know they are ridiculously expensive - like £20 for a box - but I realise I'm ready to pay this to send a nice treat during lockdown weeks when we can't see DC. Evenings drawing in, not able to go to the pub... a box of brownies to share with the rest of her house sounds just the business!

I'm keen to find a family business or artisanal outfit rather than something mass produced. And yes, want them to be super delicious!

Whose have you tried? Which did they like?

Gower’s chocolate brownies are absolutely amazing...a friend sent them to me and they didn’t last long !! Truly scrumptious.

In fact I am going to order some for myself tonight...Gower Cottage ...heaven !!

Of course the only way to know which are the best is to try all of these recommendations. It's a tough job but someone's got to do it.

I’m furious! I’m just about to pay for Gower Cottage brownies. Boom goes my diet.

Was very impressed with Gower Cottage - ordered Monday lunchtime and delivery arrived at DD’s in Durham next day lunchtime by DHL - no additional delivery charge . Would definitely order again - for me this time !

I really, really, REALLY recommend Bayside Brownies in Dorset. Family run business and they do nothing but brownies so are true specialists. Also, the owner does a brownie of the month which changes regularly -- currently Christmas themed!

Bit late to the party, but another vote for Gower Cottage! I was sent them after each of my babies were born and they were amazing! I’ve sent them as presents since and they’ve gone down soooo well!

'Bake me happy' do brownies either as a one off or a postal subscription , they are delicious and Joy who runs it is a one one woman business , these little businesses need supporting

Hey hey.... Gower Brownies hit the spot!

Only got DD reports on how delicious and big smiles on faces of housemates....

And what I loved was knowing PRECISELY when they were being delivered (a one hour window emailed on the day!) and that they're from the Gower... one of our favourite holiday places so lots of happy memories intertwined with the chocolate
