To ask you where to get the best brownies online - to send to student children amongst others?

Yup, I know they are ridiculously expensive - like £20 for a box - but I realise I'm ready to pay this to send a nice treat during lockdown weeks when we can't see DC. Evenings drawing in, not able to go to the pub... a box of brownies to share with the rest of her house sounds just the business!

I'm keen to find a family business or artisanal outfit rather than something mass produced. And yes, want them to be super delicious!

Whose have you tried? Which did they like?

I love her story even more, she’s a vet and was on Furlough and started baking for her village (for free) and it’s now turned into a business.

I’ve tried the cakes and they really are delicious 😋

FlyingFlamingo · 08/11/2020 19:54

Gower Cottage also a good shout!

I’ve used a couple of Etsy sellers, the couture cake co and sugar and spicer treats. Both were good but the second ones were better as they were more gooey.

SandysMam · 08/11/2020 19:59

Holly Bell's brownies are incredible; lots of different varieties and exquisitely presented, so perfect for gifts. I think she does a subscription service too. mrsbellsbrownies.com/product-category/brownies/

www.homemadeandmoreish.com/brownies

Family run small ethical business in Somerset. They make amazing brownies in different flavours.

'Homemade and Moreish chocolate brownies are made with Fairly Traded, 70% cocoa dark Belgian chocolate, all of the packaging is biodegradable, and my ovens run on solar powered electricity – so even though the brownies are a bit naughty, they’re actually very good!'

Gareth’s delicious delights are very good. No website just on facebook. His chocolates are gorgeous too, especially the raspberry ruffles.
