To ask what job you do if....

-You earn over 30k
-you can wear whatever you want -as in you don't HAVE to dress smart! So you could wear jeans if you wasn't.

  • it's a quiet environment
  • you get a lunchbreak
-days only (no shift) -you are not sitting all day but not on your feet either...so a good balance

Thanks in advance...

Senior management for a biotech company.
It's mostly sitting although I do walk around the building and I wear a Zoom jacket for external calls.

Senior Finance Manager, I can wear what I want, it's (allegedly) week days only and a relaxed environment with a great team. My boss is flexible and family friendly and I could work remotely pre covid.

I have to do a lot of overtime at busy times though - hours, and it's a huge responsibility. I don't make plans at month or year end.

Accountant.

I used to be on my feet more moving between office buildings for meetings, but it's all on teams at the moment. At least that means I can wear jeans every day (although we were basically smart casual before, rather than formal office wear).

I'm a lecturer. I wouldn't describe it as 9-5 mon-fri per se, but I have a lot of flexibility with my time. I can collect dc every day at 3, take time for homework or an afterschool activity if I want, but it does mean I still need to get the work done, so that means working in the evenings or (rarely) on a weekend. And sometimes I do need to wear something more formal than jeans, but it's not every day or even weekly. Obviously takes a lot of years of education and training though (a PhD) and is quite competitive.

Office manager at a tech company -lay people I know have all these things at their jobs and earn over 30k tbh? I think a lot of companies these days have gone with a more casual approach

All the jobs I’ve had in the last 10 years have been similar vibe as well tbh and I’ve been an office manager at various different types of company in London
