I know it's morbid, but I always think about people who must have been desperate to see America recover from the Trump era, but who died before they could see it happen: RBG, John Lewis, John McCain. I feel sorrowful thinking they died without knowing.

I joined Mumsnet when we started trying for a child. We have now had three miscarriages and are under the care of a hospital. I joined to learn about pregnancy and motherhood. It really was!

He'd been playing a bit of Devil's Advocate until then even when you could tell he felt very uncomfortable with the accusations, but the "WTF am I supposed to say to that?!" look on his face was something else.
