He was definitive, and pleased that he would win, but not crowing and triumphant like Trump would have been. Rather, he was proud about what the country has achieved.
He said he knew it was gruelling waiting for the results, and gave a sweet knowing smile when he said it. But, that this is democracy, and that every vote is a person exercising democratic their right, so we need to let the process happen and be patient.
He said he and Kamala are already getting to work, coming up with plans to deal with Covid and get the economy out of the hole. He expressed sadness for those who have died.
He said that politics is not about being in a constant state of partisan warfare. That disagreements over politics are healthy and a sign of democracy, but ultimately, we need to come together to get things done, and that's what he intends to do, bring people together.
