I doubt it. Pence claimed he didn't need to isolate when several of his staff tested postive as he was "doing essential work" which is daft. The Trumplings will claim that stirring up division and spreading conspiracy theories is also essential work

What gets me is... Trump last time won a couple of States with the same sort of margins.Not a word was said at the time about recounts. He's happy when he wins and shouts blue murder when he's not.

In my experience, to ask probing questions and for evidence.

The thing is that those checks and balances can be viewed as a conspiracy can’t they? It’s a conspiracy to keep the overall peace, because we’ve seen where things can go. Might it be worth replaying old photos and so on of that?

I hope the necessary questions get asked about why the checks are needed and are being swung into action. It’s not enough to just brush things under the carpet. We need change. In this Britain and America are the same - I agree with the very articulate poster up thread or up threads (can’t remember who it was unfortunately) about the similarity of economic situations in a ‘winner takes all’ economic mentality. Britain follows where America goes.

I wouldn't bother with gently tbh, I'd just state that I didn't agree at all and leave it at that. I'm sick of arguing all the time, so I quite often just end conversations. They don't have to listen to me but equally - I don't have to listen to them.

I'm so hopeful that more normal discourse will now come out of America going forwards. I'm so tired of all the conspiracies and lies.

It cheered me up, because from the start I didn't think this election would be over within a week of 3rd, but I was beginning to feel I must have been stupid to think that, even though some states had been very clear that they wouldn't have a final count before then, or even before 14th.

Going back even further, to page 10, Roussette I don't make any claims (and who wants to own McNinny anyway, she's toxic, I'd have to deep-clean the house) because it was a genuine mishearing on my part, not a clever invention, and you're the one who took it and ran with it.
